I know that I'm probably overthinking, but honestly, I've always really enjoyed Ku, and I still sometimes kinda wish that we could've at least have a DLC or another game with Ku AS the main character!! While I understand why that probably wouldn't really work, but to me at least, Ku feels like she'd be a really tough fighter, but also genuinely compassionate and would fight to protect innocents just like how Ori saved her too!! That's just what I think, though. :)
