This is my optiplex 5080 I got off ebay and put a gpu. It have a rtx3050, intel i5-10500, 16gb ddr4 ram equivalent to silicon power ram, a motherboard equivalent to a Asus PRIME B460M-A, 512gb ssd equivalent to Silicon Power P34A60 512 GB, and a 260w pcu. If I picked the rights parts and did the math right its a $900 pc new just looking at stats. But its my first pc build so idk. And if anyone is curious the final build total was like 450-500.

I've been traveling a lot for work recently so pc has been going unused would get much more use of a gaming laptop. What would this pc be worth if i were to sell it for cash and if i were to want to trade for a gaming laptop would i be aiming for a 5080 or 5070 one?

Having some job instability and it's looking like I'll probably need to move somewhere cheaper, funds are tighter than I'd like to afford a move, so only real option is to sell this atm.
It's high-end, but most stuff is a gen or two-ish old now.
It's barely used, really. A hundred or two hours of total power-on time, mostly used for batch rendering. Based off of sold prices on eBay and such, I'm thinking $3.8k-$4k isn't too crazy? Obviously that's priced to negotiated down a bit if selling locally. Please correct me if it is, though.
What's the usual for drives/SSDs, though? There's some fairly sensitive data on it, which is why I'm considering keeping it. Do most regular people keep theirs when selling or should it be a selling point itself? Never really sold a PC, so kinda clueless.
