Driving 100-150 kms daily, it is more than enough to observe the kamote habits of the drivers in metro manila, tonta nga ba o ignorante?

For me these are the worst bad habits i see on the road

-nonexistent safeside turning yielding at an intersection, ito ung kahit red light pwede ka naman lumiko, pero magbibigay ka padin sa mga padiretso na may green, hindi manggitgit

-pag huminto ang nasa harap, instead na huminto, kabig!!

-laning: pag 2 linya, kahit tumawid pa ng intersection, may specific lane kang dapat kunin, ung nasa kaliwa, sa kaliwa padin, ung sa kanan sa kanan padin kahit paliko liko pa ang kalye.

Special mention: Geronimo going to valero and lacson from nagtahan side crossing fajardo dami nito see photo attached!

-rotunda mess, walang right of way right of way!

-babad sa passing/overtaking lane

-hindi po design ang markings sa kalye

-ung kahit barado na, sige padin, walang pakielam sa iba! "Bilog ang mundo" applies to traffic as well, baka dahil binara/di mo pinagbigyan, magttraffic lalo pati sa dadaanan mo

Ganito po kase nangyari. Normal na takbo lang naman ako, may sakay akong 2, nanay ko sa likod ko kapatid ko naman sa loob ng sidecar. Bali motorcycle po ang sakay namin. Meron po lalaki bumangga samin sa likuran, nayupi po yung bandang likod ng sidecar. Lasing po yung driver. Huminto po ako sa gilid para tingnan yung tama, pero yung naka bangga po umalis. Sinundan naman po namin at naabutan. Ngayon po mahirap talaga kausapin dahil lasing. Pumunta naman po kami agad sa baranggay. Buti nalang kung saan kami na bangga eh halos katapat lang din ng barangay hall at nakita ng mga taga barangay kung ano yung nangyari. Ang tanong ko po kase ganito. Wala po kase akong lisensya, eh kami po ang na bangga. Kung sakali po ba may lisensya yung lalaki ano po ba kung sakali yung habol namin?

Mainit sa mata ngayon ang mga GSM taxi. But why this taxi company all alone? Madami akong nakikita sa kalsada na super kamote pa dito. Like jeep beating the redlight with no hesitation. Bus, tryk and etc. Pero pinapaglapas lang nila. Tapos showing their mahirap card. Your thoughts?

Isn't this illegal? Just saw this post on an instagram story. Hinahabol po ba to ng pulis o pag naka big bike wala nang huli? Pinost pa talaga haha. Baka uminit nanaman lalo mga mata ng pulis sa mga big bike dahil sa mga ganto.

if i were in this situation, i would get startled because a man is holding a piece of rock and looking at the cars passing by near the outer lane, it seemed to be a threat that if a car speeds up he will throw a huge rock into the cars windshied

For all the drivers that are trying to save some gas money. 🙇‍♂️

Started as passion project, not really a mobile developer but ended creating one. Project started 4th week of January giving 30mins - 1 hour a day progress. Learned everything from scratch and forced to expedite the project because of the ongoing fuel crisis.

This is now what it looks like 1 month after going live.

It has massive support in some areas of the Philippines and is sustainable but it is struggling to retain users on areas that has no data yet 😞

Features ⛽:

✅ Crowdsourced prices

➡️Usually requires 2-3 exact same reports to be verified but for now in the early stage, disabled muna.

➡️Distance constraints: User can only update a fuel station's price when it is near to that area by approximately 3km. Some users take pictures and update the prices later when on when they are on full stop driving.

➡️Price guard, only accepts values near the current market price average per fuel type Price photo capture, works only on mobile app using ML kit as tesseract.js for browser seems insufficient.

✅ Dynamic station indicators

➡️Green: Prices were updated on the current week's fuel price adjustments

➡️Red: Prices were not updated after the week's price adjustments

➡️Gray: Stale, no fuel price info yet. No DOE prices as this creates user expectation when in reality, the actual fuel price is not close to the DOE's. P.S. Fuel stations can set their own fuel prices higher or lower than DOE's.

✅10 cheap fuel list

➡️Displays the top 10 cheapest fuel based on the filters of fuel type, distance, brand, and max price.

✅Route Planning

➡️Set a route and the app will display only stations near to that.

➡️Filters and sets the prices along your route in the "Cheap fuel list" Purple markers: Means that it is the cheapest fuel along your route.
