Tomorrow is the day 🥹

Tomorrow is the day🥹

By now, you’ve probably reached that strange point where you’re wondering if you studied enough, remembered enough, prayed enough, sacrificed enough.

You did what you could. And that matters.

Tomorrow, you won’t walk into that room carrying only the things you reviewed tonight. You’ll carry years of sleepless nights, duty hours, revalidas, failures you quietly recovered from, patients who taught you lessons no textbook ever could, and the people who believed in you on days you struggled to believe in yourself.

There will be questions you know immediately. There will be questions that make you stare at the ceiling and question every life decision you’ve ever made. 😭 That’s okay. One question at a time. One subject at a time. One day at a time.

Don’t let one difficult item convince you that you’re doing badly. Don’t bring the previous question into the next one. Read carefully. Trust your training. Choose, move forward, and protect your peace.

And when fear starts getting loud, remember: YOU DID NOT COME HERE THIS FAR BY ACCIDENT.

Tomorrow is not a test of your worth as a person, nor will one examination ever fully measure the kind of physician you will become. But it is a door you have worked incredibly hard to reach.

So tonight, close the reviewers when you can. Eat. Pray, if you pray. Hug your family. Message your friends. Sleep.

Then tomorrow, show up.

With shaky hands, if necessary.

With a nervous heart, if necessary.

Just show up and give it everything you have.

Years from now, I hope you remember this night… the night before everything changed.

God bless you, future doctors.

See you on the other side. 🤍
