3rd year college student here.

So, I used to be friends with our acting thesis leader. Let's call them L.

Honestly, nung una pa lang, ayoko talagang maging kagrupo siya sa thesis. We've been friends for a while, and alam naman natin kung gaano ka-complicated kapag kaibigan mo yung mga kagroupo mo, especially sa thesis. Pero L insisted, so I eventually agreed.

Fast forward to when we started writing our paper. Napansin ko na L would constantly rant to me about our other groupmates. Kesyo pangit daw yung ambag nila, hindi marunong gumawa, hindi tumutulong, and so on. The thing is, may mga times na I genuinely didn't think their work was that bad naman. Pero dahil friend ko si L, nakikinig na lang ako sa rants niya. Ayoko rin naman makipag-argue over something like that.

And honestly, this isn't new behavior from L. Almost every time may group project kami, may reklamo siya sa gawa ng ibang tao. Either hindi niya gusto yung output, hindi raw tumutulong yung iba, or feeling niya siya lang yung may alam kung paano gawin nang maayos yung project.

Don't get me wrong, L is smart. Pero I also know that I'm capable, and so are some of our other groupmates. Ang problema kasi, sometimes it feels like L thinks their way is the ONLY right way to do things.

Ang ending? They would take over the work themselves, then complain na walang tumutulong sa kanila. Like, paano kami makakatulong kung ikaw mismo yung nagtatanggal ng contributions namin?

I'm a people pleaser, and I've always been one of the top achievers in class. I'm not saying this to brag, but I take my academics seriously. Kapag may group project, I make sure na may ambag ako, I do my part, and I try to help wherever I can.

So imagine my confusion when I started noticing na tinatanggal ni L yung mga parts na ginawa ko sa thesis namin.

At first, I didn't say anything. Pero habang tumatagal, napapansin ko na parang familiar na yung pattern. L would complain about one groupmate, criticize their work, and eventually take over their part. Then another groupmate. Then another.

I eventually confronted L about it, and they told me na pangit daw yung gawa ko. They even removed my access to our document.

FO na kami ngayon lol.

Now, I've seen plenty of posts here about groupmates na walang ambag, hindi maayos gumawa, or umaasa lang sa ibang members. And I get it. I've been a leader before, too, so I know how frustrating it can be when you're carrying a group project.

But this situation has me questioning myself.

Pangit ba talaga yung gawa ko? Or was I dealing with someone who couldn't trust anyone else's work unless it was done their way?

I'm not saying na perfect yung output ko. I'm very much open to criticism, and if my work really needed improvement, I would've appreciated actual feedback so I could fix it.

Pero yung basta na lang tatanggalin yung ambag ko, remove my access, and make me feel like I was the problem? I don't even know what to think anymore.

was just using excel kanina for an activity and all of a sudden it says na i'm using an unlicensed product making it unable to use microsoft apps. is the same issue happening to you guys? if no, saang dept pwede mag reach out to fix this? thank you so much for any help

So my name is wrong kasi in the PUPSIS. I acknowledge that it is my fault, lutang ata ako nung nag apply. Now I'm frustrated whether is it gonna affect me much in the future (employment and stuff) or I'll just let it be nalang. Ang dami rin kasing requirements just to change the name may pa notary and all pa huhu.

EXAMPLE OF MISTAKE IN MY NAME:

REAL NAME: Josh Michael B. Jordan

PUPSIS NAME: Josh B. Jordan

the second half of my first name is missing, so is it a big deal or no.

context: i have 1.41 and 1.45 gwa for first nd second sem last year and i think im on the track to also have a pl gwa this sem. but isang prof na hindi pumapasok nung first sem said i wasn't active enough in class (mind you ako pa minsan nagtuturo sa class ng gagawin and interpretations ng readings kasi wala siyang sabi hfshaahh and lagi akong nagrerecite kapag online. ftf minsan lang kasi minsan lang naman siya magtanong akhaashah)

i got a 2.75 lol. in-ask ko grades tas ambaba ng performance ko and inask ko bakit walang reply hhahshhahsahhsabhsa

so 2nd sem went by and na-accept ko na. sabi ko nga sa sarili ko papakitaan ko siya, never akong magkakaroon ng 2.5 pababa. hahashah motivation lang.

moved on na ko dun kahit minsan kailangan ko paring i-email yung prof kasi ayaw niya irelease grades nung iba kong kaklase.

tas may general assembly dept namin, and we can submit if pl kami or dl and i was excited na atleast for 2nd sem marerecognize naman konti paghihirap ko hahahahahshah. they do their awardings by year lol not by sem and naremind lang ako sa 2.75 ko hahashahaha

sucks pero ganun talaga sa pup.
