Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about something I recently discovered.
If you bought the VIP tickets for the Detroit draft, they will lose their VIP access if you resell them on ticketmaster and become a standard ticket. This will also happen if they're transferred on ticketmaster.
I bought 4 not knowing if I would need all 4 or not and only actually need 3 of them. When I went to sell the extra, it just showed a normal ticket. I chat with support and they confirmed that the VIP tickets become standard tickets when resold or transferred.
I don't want anyone getting screwed over or something because ticketmaster decided to not warn anyone about it.

Hi all! This is a follow up on my last post regarding planning a meetup for the Walter Cup finals in Detroit.
I’ve been in contact with the owner of J’s Penalty Box in Ferndale and right now they are working on getting the channels necessary to play the game in the bar within the legal broadcasting requirements. They’ve been super communicative and excited about a potential watch party, but they will not know if they can show it until this coming Monday the 18th.
That being two days before game 4, I wanted to make this post to gauge interest and get the word out earlier.
Please don’t show up to J’s that day without seeing my next post confirming everything. If you do, I can’t guarantee the game will be on or that others will be there to join in the fun.
I will make a definitive post on Monday or Tuesday next week confirming the meetup! Please keep a lookout here, on Bluesky, and Threads (username is the same) and comment below if you think you’ll be there!
