Apparently my great grandfather brought this back from Japan back in the 50s if the story is to believed. Outside of the company and similar looking machines, I could not find anything about it. It also has a handwritten message on the back i could not translate with my phone.
My very first machine. First over restoration. First spinners repainted. Had to do a hopper repair. Built a box I'll have some scrap plexiglass ,glued it to what was left of the old Hopper. Been doing it for over 3 years now still one of my favorite center themes. Two cranes at the top ,hard to make out in a photo. I hope this helps the person that just acquired one similar. Parts are almost non-existent for the Okumaruyuki. I've a 1955 Okumaruyuki single shot also.
I wss given a project machine today. Literally put it on the bench minutes ago so i have done no triage but it's missing a bunch of parts. Decent batch of engraved balks at least and at first glance the front looks pretty good.
Hey, don’t know for sure if this is a Pachinko machine, but that’s what I’ve heard in the past. Selling it to pay for college, didn’t want to sell it for a fraction of its price, anybody know what it’s worth? Fully Functional
Very loud 🤣
Picked this up off FB Marketplace for $50 because I thought it’d look cool in my basement even if it doesn’t work.
I know absolutely nothing about pachinko machines. This is a Nishijin “PASS” machine and I can’t even find where power connects to it. There’s a fuse marked “10V” but no visible power cord.
I’m mainly trying to figure out:
- approximate year
- whether anything obvious is missing
- how these normally got power
- whether this looks restorable/runnable
- if there's anything special about this particular one
I'd love to get it running again and mount it to my wall. That would be awesome.
Added front/back/mechanism pics. Any info appreciated.
Completely restored. New playfield.
