Hi everyone!! I'm starting to put together a palette of high-quality oil painting, I've always painted with oils, but I've never prioritized quality over price; however, now I want to start creating paintings for my home.

Would you be kind enough to help me with brands and color names, please? I'm thinking of starting with some blue, red and yellow, and maybe some good versatile green?

I wanted to share this short experiment where everyday household WD-40 spray was used as a cell activator for fluid art.

The way it repels the acrylic paint creates these gorgeous, organic cells that perfectly mimic the petals of an Anemone flower. It’s amazing what you can do with simple things you find in your garage!

Have any of you experimented with WD-40 or other household oils? How do your pieces hold up over time compared to regular silicone oil?
