I got the dúchas edition in fern green, pocket sized. It came with the flower charm. I love it. I shoved it full of field notes. Don’t know if this is the best way to layer them in, so if anyone has any recommendations to tighten the ribbons, I’ll gladly take it!
If I order a portfolio and I want to add more inside ribbons, do I need to make another hole for them? Is there already a hole and I just need to buy the ribbon and put it in?

Here is my collection so far. I must admit that the petrol blue look so different online, than in person. I am still trying to fall in love with the color.
We have a red pocket, red le portfolio a6 and a petrol blue le portfolio a5.
I might get and a5 with no pockets as a gift later if i pass a certification.
I left the room for 5 minutes and my young german shepherd dragged my bag off the counter. Maybe it adds charm? Puppy embossing?

What’s your “can’t live without” pocket inserts? I just got my Botany Green and I love it! I think it’s the perfect size! I use field notes inserts but kind of want a calendar insert and ect. What sizes fit the best in the pocket GV? Whats your favorites?

My inserts (from beginning to last) is my weekly to do lists, finances, quick notes, and for journaling on the go. Love it to bits and will be my new bestie :)
Here’s my everyday carry cutie😍 I use her for my wallet as well. I have 2 notebooks, 1 from PR and the other from a Etsy shop for my book reviews. I was previously carrying my LV pm agenda as my daily wallet / catch all and I was obsessed and was worried that I wouldn’t love my PR but I love her so bad, I get so many compliments and questions about her when I pull her out at stores and even at the dr just now🥰 No Regrets
I received my A5 portfolio, and I transferred everything from my DIY cover into it… and it did not fit the way I had it in my other one. Yes, I made it a little larger, but that’s not really the point.
I think I’m realizing that I want to carry everything with me at the same time. I’m coming from digital note-taking, where I’m used to having one device for everything, so having multiple notebooks for different things is a completely new concept for me.
And I have already purchased three PR journals in the span of ONE WEEK.
Here’s where I’m at:
My GV Pocket is for work my agenda, mileage tracking, and journaling about the houses I record (I’m a real estate videographer).
The le portfolio A5 was originally going to be for my planner, journal/diary, to-do lists, quotes, and church sermons. But let’s be real… why would I carry my church notes with me all week? So I scratched that idea.
Then I thought, maybe I could use it for my class notes, because I’ll probably need those during my first year until I memorize and become familiar with some of the laws and terminology. (I’m getting a new certification… still a secret .)
Then I bought the a6 le porfolio thinking I could use it as a wallet, notes on the go and ideas.
And THIS is where all my doubts and questions started.
When I’m journaling about the houses I record, I find the A6 size SO pleasing to write in. Now my big journal almost feels like too much.
Do people actually journal/diary in A6-size books, or do most people use the bigger sizes?
I know there are no rules, and I know I can use whatever works for me. But I’m only about two weeks into this new ecosystem, and I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities.
Not overwhelmed enough to stop, though. I’ve actually been dumping all of this into my journal, which has helped.
I think I just need some guidance from people who have been doing this for a while.
What do you actually use your different sizes for? And does anyone use an A6 as their everyday journal/diary?
Because right now, I feel like I’m trying to create an entire system before I’ve even figured out how I actually use it.
For anyone who has ordered a customized journal from Paper Republic, how soon after receiving the “our crew has started working on your journal” email did your order ship?
I received the same notification about four times over the span of a few days, so now I’m overthinking and wondering if it was just a glitch or if something could be holding up my order. 😅 I’m really hoping to receive it soon! Would love to hear how long it took for yours to ship after getting that email.

I love the patina of my botany GV XL so much I just had to share :) this is just under a month old, the leather is already so soft
Happy new journal day to me! Finally received my GV XL today in Olive and I am absolutely in love. I immediately changed the cord to black and added a monstera charm to make it more me. I currently have PR’s monthly planner, 26-27 weekly planner, cash & card holder and dotted insert. Will be using this mainly as a personal planner, daily to-do list, habit tracker, and milestone recorder. Very pleased with my setup!
Also, ordered this on July 22 with standard shipping. Had I known of the delays when placing my order, I would’ve shelled out the money for quicker shipping. Either way, definitely worth the wait!
I tried PR notebooks, although they are good, I didn't love them. Found my peace with a B6 Stalogy. I will use my Pr A5 slims for now where I can but won't use them for archival subjects.
But, re the leather, I love these journals. I genuinely do.

Venizia is my daily diary with no rules...daily note, daily observations, daily record keeping, feelings, stickers, whimsy, mood, etc I love it.
I've decided to stop taking it all so seriously and to stop trying to be some journaler that I'm not.
This is my system (for now) and that's ok
