Excerpt: The Philippine economy grew at its slowest pace in five years, expanding just 2.8 percent in the first quarter of 2026, as the country grapples with the persistent government spending slump and mounting inflation shocks.

The country’s economy, as measured by the gross domestic product (GDP), decelerated from the 3.0 percent expansion recorded in the final three months of 2025.

It also significantly missed the 3.4 percent median growth projected by economists in a survey, and marked the weakest quarterly output for the country since the first quarter of 2021, when the economy contracted 3.8 percent during pandemic-era lockdowns.

Please be advised that there have been reports of a hold-up in the dark area of Loyola Memorial Park.

Last night, at around 1:30 AM, the jeepney I was riding was held up by two men. They threatened the passengers with a balisong (butterfly knife). One of them carried out the hold up while the other blocked the jeepney's entrance to prevent anyone from getting out.

The two men boarded the jeepney near Park & Go, close to Pag-IBIG. After a few minutes, they asked the driver to drop them off in the dark area of Loyola Memorial Park. That's where they carried out the hold up, taking advantage of the darkness and the absence of people around.

Please be extra careful, especially when commuting late at night. Stay alert, remain vigilant, and always prioritize your safety.

Nakarating po sa akin na nag-uusap usap daw silang guys about their partners and how they do intimate stuff! Napilitan pa yung BF ko (na employee rin ng Nightmares) na mag-share kasi tanong sila nang tanong kung anong ginagawa namin! They even said na baka hindi na ako vrgin talaga kaya ayaw kong magpagalaw sa bf ko! WTF WAS THAT? So my bf said na pinapad3d3 ko siya, just to answer their question (but that act only happened once po and mga nasa 15 seconds lang din tinagal). Then someone said, "Gawin daw yon hanggang sa mamaga yung utøng ko" WHAT THE HELL? HA? PLS LANG. GIRLFRIENDS DESERVE TO BE RESPECTED. HINDI YUNG GANITO NA PINAG-UUSAPAN SILA ABOUT S3XUAL STUFF WITHOUT THEM KNOWING ABOUT IT! I'm calling the management of Nightmares Manila na kausapin employees niyo. Hindi pwede na sobrang bastos ng mga lalaki dyan. So what if may guests na let's say, maganda katawan? Ano? Pag-uusapan din ba nila yon? Your place is not safe. Ayusin niyo muna moral ng iba niyong empleyado. Pls lang. Di ko lalahatin kasi for sure may matitino naman. But please, paki-disiplina yang mga BASTOS na yan!

PS: Yung statement na ito ay galing sa bf ko since nagkausap kami sa personal kahapon. My bf is not different from them din kasi he could have just walked away kaysa sumagot! Pero still, it doesn't erase the fact na andaming bastos dyan na employees especially yung mga nag-side comment about my vrginity and my utøng!!!!
