Need small software just to calculate salaries and advances and absence deductions and EMI for advances. i will upload employe details in the software, and it can auto-calculate the payable and give me a form so that i will manually transfer it to everyone. No tax, no gratuity, no attendance,, no HR. Nothing is needed.

Almost every software in the market charges per person. that seems way over the budget. Can anyone help me?

Our company is finally moving off our old payroll setup that we've been patching together for years. I've been tasked with leading the evaluation and honestly the number of vendors out there is overwhelming. We've looked at a few names but getting actual pricing info before sitting through a demo feels almost impossible and I don't want to waste the whole team's time on vendors that are way out of budget or missing features we need.

I'm basically trying to find a place to compare and buy payroll software for our mid-sized company so we can narrow down a shortlist without spending months on it. I've poked around G2 and Capterra but the reviews feel all over the place and there's no real way to coordinate input from our HR, finance and IT stakeholders in one spot. Anyone know of a platform or broker service that has verified pricing, side by side vendor profiles and maybe some expert guidance to help with negotiations too? Free for us buyers would obviously be ideal

A few months ago we started hiring outside our home country and I remember thinking payroll would be the least of my worries since we already had a provider in place. But the more I dug into it the more I realized I was basically just trusting the system and crossing my fingers that everything was set up correctly.

Now we’ve got a small team spread across a few countries, and I keep wondering if we’re actually staying compliant or just assuming we are.

Do you just trust your payroll provider, or have you found a practical way to double check things?
