I know we had a bad market yesterday but I woke up to see significantly less in my 401k. Way way less than what the market should reflect. When I login to Merrill Lynch it shows fine but on Personal Capital it still shows the wrong amount even though it was updated recently (30 min ago). Very strange.

Edit: I think I see the issue. If I go to the Investments tab, it shows my "market value" which is the number I'm now seeing in Personal Capital. The market value is way way less than my balance. The market value seems to only show what I'm fully vested in, but even that number looks wrong because I show fully vested (which I should be) in all of the below totals, but then at the top, it doesn't reflect that. Again, very strange. Hope this is something they can sort out.

I marked an account closed on the Empower application but i meant to permanently delete the account now I cannot seem to delete the marked closed account does anyone know how to get this account removed I don’t know if it’s because I’m on the application and not the website but it doesn’t give me the option to delete the account after marking it as closed.

Has anyone here established an ID.me account to access your government accounts like IRS, Medicare, social security? What what is your experience in the set up process? How have you used the ID.me account since you established it?

I’ve tried for 10 days to establish an ID.me account and I get nothing but roadblock after roadblock after pushback. I don’t even know why I need the account. It seems kind of like a bogus scam to me.

I finally got an email yesterday saying my docs were approved and I could be on a video conference call so I signed in by 10 am. Estimated wait time predicted the call would be about 2:20 pm. Wait time got longer and longer, the call didn’t start till almost 6 pm! I sat on my computer ALL DAY LONG monitoring to be ready for the call. Incredible inefficiency and waste of time.

My 401k plan just changed investments so it moved me into the new funds. Now it shows that I have saved a negative number in the “Financial Planning” section. I tried a few different categories and nothing worked, currently they’re all classified as “rebalance”.

The past few days I have not been able to update my Schwab accounts. I try to edit and re-link the account and the process seems to work, but then it still fails to update.

I originally started using personal capital for the platform, I was not a client. Eventually, I became a client because I liked the platform so much. With the Empower translation, I feel like the app is far worse, and I have never been particularly impressed by the investment management side. Is this a common theme? Is there a logical solution?
