27M, and I’ve only got until next Tuesday night to make some plans before I head back out for two weeks on my FIFO job.

So, for anyone who’s interested, I was thinking of doing a few things:

• BBQ at Woodman Point Beach
• Go watch either the new Spider-Man, Odyssey, Insidious, or The End of Oak Street — or multiple 😅
• Grab a beer in Perth or at any bar, because seriously, I’m due for a good one

I also just got out of a 7-year relationship, so I kinda need to broaden my social circle again and get back out there so I can eventually start dating lol.

I have rewritten this a few times because I honestly do not know the right way to say it.

I am an introvert and somewhere along the way I realised that I have become really lonely. I have people I talk to but I do not have that one person I can genuinely be myself with. Someone I can message at night about how my day went, share random thoughts with, laugh about stupid things with or talk to when life feels a little too heavy.

I am 5 months sober from smoking and substance abuse! I think finding new friends can be an excellent way to stay on track and create new memories.

I’m also studying at TAFE and figuring out what I want my life to look like long-term. I really value personal growth and trying new things, but I’m also trying to learn how to enjoy life as it is rather than constantly feeling like I need to be improving myself.

Personality wise, I’d say I’m pretty open-minded, curious, affectionate with people I’m close to, and I love having deep conversations just as much as I love being stupid and laughing about absolutely nothing.
