My lil guy had a cute “dog passport” that looked exactly like our passports but for vaccinations. That vet has unfortunately left the country.

I’m looking for similar ones for my new kitten. Anyone know any vets that provide the same?

Living alone in Bangalore with my dog. No family here, parents in another city. I love this life but there are moments when the reality of doing everything alone hits hard.
The thing that worries me most is travel. Whenever I need to visit family the options are genuinely terrible. My dog is sensitive and has come back from boarding with ticks, rashes, and stress every single time. Cargo on flights is not something I'm willing to put her through. First AC train is a 3 month waiting list. So essentially I'm stuck unless I find someone I genuinely trust with her.
I'm not looking for boarding recommendations necessarily — more curious if there's a community of people in the same situation. Single dog parents living away from family, figuring out how to build a support system in a city that isn't always dog friendly.
How do you manage? Have you found trusted people? Is there a community or network I should know about?
Would love to hear from anyone who has figured this out. 🐾

Had two dogs during my school days but they passed away due to old age, So recently got stabled at life and took my own flat, really wanna get a dog since i work from home all the time.(golden/shitzu/beagle)

Posting on behalf of a dear friend. One of their community dogs, Bruce, 9 years old, was kidnapped on August 16, 2026 in the dead of the night and relocated. Their community is going all in to find Bruce, but as of now they have drawn a blank. They have posted in Missing Dogs WhatsApp group, Whitefield Canine group but need more help to share the case details and hopefully, someone has seen Bruce somewhere. They are sure some of the community residents and businesses got this done illegally with payment under the table. They are also using local political influence to not cooperate to help find Bruce.

I’ve recently moved to Mangalore from Hyderabad and couldn’t take my cat along with me. He is now at my friends and will be sent to me soon. Since I’m a student, I can’t afford to pay 17-22k to pet carrier services. I did find someone kind enough who agreed to bring my cat till Bangalore and another person who can bring him to Mangalore from there on. Being in the health sciences field I will not be allowed to take a leave mid week what so ever and this arrangement is going to happen on 6th Oct.

So I’m stuck at a point where I don’t have anyone in Bangalore to pick him up from KR market on 6th morning and hand him over at tin factory at 6am the same day.
I feel pretty helpless and am extremely desperate to find a solution for this 6am-6pm gap on 6th Oct.

Details on my cat:
4/M, neutered tabby, very friendly but may be a little spooked from the situation we’re in. He is friendly or not with other cats based on his mood but has never attacked another cat. He will hiss and keep him distance.
