I heard there is a restaurant somewhat near Phoenixville where you sit by the creek and can grill meat. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Name ? Location? Reviews?
Just a heads up that this week PennDOT put down fresh oil and chips on Second Avenue (State Route 4015) north of PA-113 headed towards Royersford. Just thought I'd mention it here for the folks from Phoenixville that use that road. You may want to avoid it for a couple weeks until the road sorts itself.
Does anyone have an easy-to-understand pool schedule for the fall? With swim lessons and the app I can’t seem to narrow it down and when I call it is hard to get a straight answer before I drive over. From what I can tell on the app there’s no swimming prior to 11:30 am, but that feels so late. Thanks in advance!

I wanted to promote the town’s photography group! (Got Mod approval for this post.)
We’re a decent‑sized group made up of photographers of all skill levels and formats — from beginners with smartphones to pros with 4×5 film cameras. We host monthly photo walks and competitions, and winners have their photos displayed in local businesses (Steel City and Forever Changes Vinyl Lounge this month).
We’ve also worked with the Mayor to gain access to local events as media members, such as the Wheel unveiling and the Colombia Grand Big Boy Event. This has allowed us to bring one or two group members to the events in exchange for taking photos.
You can find us in person on Wednesday nights at Root Down Brewing’s “Freaks and Geeks” event, which starts at 6pm and runs until close.
Anyone is welcome to stop by and say hi — and of course, to join in!

So I went directly to the cited deflock website and there aren’t any in town. Were they removed after the post pointed out they weren’t actually flock? Maybe. Still wouldn’t hurt to contact Council (and the mayor if you want but he’s primarily a figurehead) and tell them you don’t want them in town.
Note that this is an open source and volunteer run website so the info found there should be taken with some speculation.

My partner and I are from PA (not PHX), but have lived the last decade in Southern California. It’s been amazing but we now have an 8 month old and are missing the grandparents. We also feel like we’d get a nicer home if we moved back to the greater Philly area.
