Hi folks! I’m a travel RN considering moving to Phoenixville for an indefinite amount of time. I’ve heard so many positive things about the area and I feel like it fits my lifestyle to a T. I’m 38, very active, love the outdoors, but I do love being close to all my essentials (drug stores, groceries, nail place, doctor’s offices, etc.) I’ve been doing a lot of looking for housing and I’m trying to avoid the complexes as I really value the feeling of parking in my own driveway and walking through a front door without needing an elevator or a long hallway, especially after a long shift. Anyone have leads of townhomes or homes for rent? Thanks!
Hey all, I’ve always done flex & local contracts that did not require me to accept the stipend & rent out of state.
My question is- what have you all found to make the most sense: signing the contract first or finding your living accommodations first?
Would love any and all input. For context, it’s just me, myself, and I- no pets but would prefer 2bd/2ba in PA on the Mainline. Open to suggestions, horror stories, & success stories. Let ‘er rip.

After all is said and done I’m expected to spend 35k for this car and for clarification if has 53k miles on it. I feel like this prices is high. Its list price is 31,884 but after taxes and that ridiculous dealer fee it’s a bit over 35k. I have the cash so would it pay to play ball and offer 28k? Thoughts?
Hi all! Long Island 38yo super active and artistic. Loves the outdoors, working out, reading, and music. No kids. Will be moving to PA for travel contracts. Looking for the best match to settle into for a little bit. I don’t know if I want to be RIGHT in the middle of the city, especially seeing as I’ll have my car. I’d prefer to be close to the Schyulkill. I’ve read about Conshohocken, Manayunk, Roxborough, Plymouth Meething, Bala Cynwyd, Ardmore, & Phoenixville (which I know some of these aren’t Philly) but figured I’d include it anyway since I’m open to that area too.
Any advice and input is more than welcome as to where I may be happiest. Or what different places have to offer that I’m not finding online. Thanks!
