10 Years of Phrozen and What's Coming Next

Ten years ago, Phrozen started with a simple belief: resin 3D printing could be more accessible.

It began with Phrozen One, our very first printer, and a small team willing to take a big risk.

Since then, every generation has taught us something. Phrozen Make showed what LCD resin printing could become. Shuffle pushed print stability forward. Transform opened the door to larger resin prints.

And the Mini, Mighty, and Mega series helped makers, studios, and professionals bring more ambitious ideas to life.

For our 10th anniversary, we wanted to build more than just another printer. We wanted to bring ten years of learning, feedback, and engineering into one machine.

The First Look of this Mighty Revo 16K Max is coming. Stay tuned for May 19.

Big news! I managed to get the green light from the team to drop a first look at this absolute beast of a machine. I can’t reveal everything just yet, but mark your calendars for May 19th where we will be diving deep into more details.

Trust me, this thing is packed with features you won't want to miss. Stay tuned!

100+ parts later... and we did it twice!

While our first version of this model consisted of 100+ printed parts, we actually produced a second iteration in a lighter white finish to contrast with the original darker tones. When the artist visited our studio, we seized the opportunity to capture the process on film. We are incredibly proud of how this video turned out.

If you enjoy this work, please consider supporting the artist here

Have a great Friday!

Revo 14k Error

I've been printing with the Sonic Mini 4 and 8k for years and have always thought the Phrozen printers were a solid machine. I recently got a Revo 14k and absolutely love it. It's been a workhorse until recently. I had a slight vat leak, so I installed my secondary vat that was brand new with factory PFA installed. I got 3 partial prints in a row, failing at different heights. I thought it may be the PFA being a little tight from the factory, so I replaced the PFA on the old vat, which I've done before on this specific machine and brand of PFA with no issues. The first go I had another partial failure. As in it will print perfectly and then the print will start sticking to the vat (reminder, I've printed a lot of this particular file without failures). At one point, it looked like the supports were interrupted and then started to print again. I then turned the whole machine off and back on as I hadn't done that in a few months. I formatted my USB and resliced the file. This next print was perfect again... yay. Ran the same print right after letting the chamber heat up for a bit and this time the print just stopped in the middle with the plate down. The screen says that it errored but no code or reason. I'm not sure what to check next. I've moved my resin to another printer that doesn't have a current job so I can keep up with my orders but I'm at a loss as to what's going on with this printer. I haven't updated the firmware or changed anything since setup. It's been so good for so long. Screen test works, it goes through its checks fine.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was your solution?
