The best Photos I've taken on my 10 Pro over the last 8 months.
I got the chance to show these to a Google executive in Dublin, these were some of his favourites

Switched from the P6P i got at launch, still worked great but the battery was definitely getting tired. My 12 year old is loving it now😆
Put on a Camara protector that blacks out the temp sensor and the flash area. I think it looks 100x better like that.
Anyway the macro on this phone is deadly. Dozens of bees today on the wife's Rhododendron.
The detail is damn great. Hopefully it transfers over when i upload them.
Definitely enjoying all the upgrades going from the P6P👌

Man it feels bad not being able to enjoy this device. Instagram and "system apps" battery drain is honestly unthinkable... If google doesn't fix this with android 17 in June we're completely cooked...
Periodically, and that could mean multiple times a day or once a week, my phone display will freeze like this and won't let me interact. I can still actually unlock, double tap power and take a picture, etc, but I can't see any of it happen. It usually self corrects in 1-2 minutes, but the last 2 times it happened, I let it sit for over 30 minutes and then ended up hard booting the phone.
The camera note, I can see the photo I take in my photos after the reboot so that's how I know it's working. I can also feel the fingerprint sensor work and unlock the phone.
Currently on the phone with support getting an advance replacement but wondering if anyone knows what the actual issue is.
Porque no llega ninguna actualización, estoy en 16 oficial con parche de seguridad del 5/Mayo 2026.
No me deja hacer nada. Se actualizará a Androide 17.
Gracias a todos.
I was excited to upgrade from my 6:00 to my 10 pro XL back in December when Verizon had an amazing deal. Everything seems great and it seems like the yellow cast to the screens have been mostly fixed. But ugh the camera. I take a lot of outdoor action pictures - my grandkids' sports, live bands at all the bars and water-side places I go to in the summer, trying to capture a bird or something while on a hike, etc. My 6 captured these pictures flawlessly even on zoom. My 10 XL Pro on the other hand, likes to focus mostly on the stationary objects in the background and not the object of the photo. If I take a picture in zoom, and then try and zoom in on it, the objects and the picture start to look like you are looking at a portion of the famous painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" by Seurate. I got a few good pictures of my grandson playing baseball last week but only when he was standing perfectly still at home plate or on base and in bright sunlight. The camera seems to want bright sunlight to work better. I have tried playing with the shutter speed, the exposure, the F-Stop, etc, using my knowledge of film photography. Does anyone any ideas? It's hard to believe that my phone that is four generations younger than this takes better pictures. Thanks
Since everyone just post negativity here, let me post something positive that no one mentioned with the latest update on my Pixel 10 Pro.
On April update it showed that the proximity sensor was blinking in the phone and it was visually annoying for some people, even if you reboot the phone, it comes back eventually.
Now with May update, this issue has been fixed and I never see it since last update.
So yeah, in the update notes, Google didn't mention it.
How do you guys make the best use of the phone? I gifted myself this phone last week and just finished setting everything up. I finally feel like I’m settling in with it now.
Would love to know the features, settings, routines, apps, camera tricks, AI tools, automation setups, wallpapers, battery tweaks, or small quality-of-life things that genuinely made you appreciate the phone more over time.
I’m especially interested in:
Basically, what made your Pixel feel special to you after the honeymoon phase?
I want to make an upgrade from my galaxy a54. I was looking forward to get the S26 Ultra, but the I saw some pictures that represented how would stock android 17 will look like and I really liked it. I also want a change from One UI, since I've been using it for 6 years. The only thing that made me think about this is the performance. Unfortunately Pixel's AnTuTu, Geekbench and other test scores are half the results from Ultra. I don't play any games on my phone, just browsing and a little scrolling. What should I choose? Thanks.
Hey everyone, I've been dealing with a highly frustrating issue on my Google Pixel 10 Pro since October, and I’ve finally isolated the exact pattern. It turns out that Video Boost completely breaks any video that is around 1 minute or longer.
The Symptoms 👀:
Shorter videos (30, 35, 40 seconds) process perfectly fine through the cloud. Stabilization, colors, and lens switching look amazing.
As soon as a video hits the 45-60 second mark or longer, the processed version becomes completely unwatchable. Once the cloud processing finishes, it just throws a "Can't play video" error.
I recently shot about 20 test videos in different lighting and scenarios just to test this. Literally every single video over 1 minute failed to play. This has been happening for half a year now.
What I've tried so far 👨🏽🔧 (Troubleshooting):
Cleared cache and data for both the Camera and Google Photos apps.
Updated everything to the absolute latest versions.
Tried playing them via the Google Photos Web version on a PC — same error, which means the file itself is corrupted during the server-side processing.
Not a geo-restriction issue: I have a US Google account, English system language, and I tried running it through various high-quality VPNs (US and European servers), I also have 2TB of Google Cloud storage. The result is always the same.
It's not just me🙅🏽♂️:
It's honestly unacceptable that a major selling point of a premium flagship phone has been completely broken for half a year.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a known workaround?
(Can't play video).
I have the 10 Pro XL and I still haven't received the 3D Google maps. Has anyone with 10 series Pixel phones received it yet? Does anyone know when it might be rolling out to everyone? I'm not running the beta android. I hope I'm not the only one who hasn't received it yet! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!!
Is it worth changing from stable to beta today? I hear on YT android 17 has big changes.
Hi all, I just upgraded from my almost 4 year old Pixel 7 to the 10 Pro XL. It's only been a week for me, but so far I'm loving the 10 Pro XL. I've been wanting a bigger display for quite some time. I actually originally wanted to go with the 7 Pro when it was time for me to upgrade from my beloved 2XL but I didn't want a curved display so I decided to go with the base 7 instead. But I'm so glad to finally have a bigger display. This is my first 120 hrz phone and I'm loving it.
My s26u got the new UI. Pixel 10 Pro XL got nothing. Wtf google?
It's been 9 months since the release of the 10 series and Google has yet to fix the phone freezing up with AOD on. I find it absolutely ridiculous they can't fix this, and how I can't use an important feature. I really don't want to get rid of this phone as I love Pixels but man, I'm really disappointed with how buggy the 10 series has been.
Hello! I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL and broke up with my BF of 10 years a few months ago. I've been trying to change his contact name, but it is not updating on the messages. So it's really awkward when I tell people I'm single and they see "Babe" pop up when he texts me about the dogs 🙄. The actual contact card is correct, but it still says Babe at the top of the message thread.
I have tried completely deleting the contact, still shows as Babe. Cleared the Cache in the message app, and un-synced then resynced the contacts/SIM. I also restarted my phone. I'm at a bit of a loss so if anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!!
As title implies. Anything i should be aware of?
My personal device is an s26 ultra. 10 pro xl will be strictly work. However the battery i keep reading hit and miss information etc.
