Seeing everyone else having no trouble. I am the last alive every time. Am I just unlucky?

This was me today. Sat parked outside Shadow Thundurus raid for 50 minutes. There’s 90 seconds left on the raid timer. Received invites from all players, but the one with the premium tag didn’t click ready. What would you do?

I opted to send invites, manually making sure I got the names right while his timer expired, and a new player joined the lobby while the raid was getting started. I then didn’t hit the host ready button so I received the penalty and the new guy would get to go back into the rejoin queue. We beat the raid. Was there a better solution? Should I have just let my 50 minute wait get wasted because one guy didn’t press a button?

For clarity: I creased the lobby a couple minutes before the egg hatched and set the poke genie timer to 50 minutes. Perhaps I am at fault for doing it that way?

Barely got halfway through the HP bar. Really disappointing but honestly the reason why PokeGenie can’t be trusted for these big events.

Holy Psyducking Shit. Over the time of 2 weeks 90% of my hosted lobbys got closed (during the 50min timer) always at Position 3-10.

And it might be just coincidence but it kills the whole vibe for me. It’s already hard for me to play this game without spending money for remote raid passes since no one in my town or the 3 next towns plays. Don’t get me wrong this is by far not a rant and Pokegenie is still far better than other apps, but the whole Timer feature in my experience is frustrating.

Hello, I'm new to the app (PG, not PoGo) and haven't had any luck connecting to raids. I'll join a queue and then sit in line for hours or days and nothing happens. Even if I'm #1 in the queue nothing happens. Is there a better way of doing this or is that legitimately how it works and I just have to wait?

I have a solid team for the fight, but am worried about queue times

I was debating whether I wanted to join a remote raid for Cinderace since I only had one Remote Raid Pass. I wasn't confident in my Pokémon because I have zero Gigantamax Pokémon—only Dynamax ones. My Inteleon isn't even that good. I invested in my Dynamax Gyarados when I came back to the game after not playing for six years. My Excadrill wasn't the best either, but I invested a lot of Max Particles into my Blissey.

I've been hosting one to three Dynamax battles this week and adding the participants as friends, but I didn't think much of it. Anyway, one of them randomly invited me to a Gigantamax Cinderace raid (through the app), and OMG, I'm so glad I accepted! I did have to buy more Max Particles, though, and I was lucky to be paired with trainers who were also using Gyarados.

So hosting definitely pays off because high-level trainers add you, and they might just randomly invite you to Gigantamax raids like this. 😊

It genuinely makes me play the game less know because it's fucking annoying.
