Someone Help Me Choose 😖

I joined this sub recently and am so glad I found it! Pokemon cards have been getting a little stale for me, having collected the last 3 years, and seeing these sick page designs motivated me to try sprucing up my binder.

In the top left of this page is where my conundrum lies. I attempted making a page that has the settings at the bottom of a forest, moving to a mid sight-line looking thru trees on said forest, to (hopefully it comes across like this lol) the top level of the trees in this forest. Im caught between liking that Rowlett on a branch (bubble rowlett lol) in the top left or putting that Ninjask ( flying over the tree line) there.

Which card do yall think I should choose for that spot??? Im also open to suggestions on moving around in cards or adding/subtracting others. Thx Guys!

Help me put together a binder for my sons birthday

My kid has spent a decent amount of time and effort on his collection. He sleeves his cards that he needs to protect (or loves) and keeps them all in a binder. Here’s the thing- it’s a three ring binder. I got him the binder as an upgrade from his duotang with the little metal pieces you bend over the page inserts, as I really didn’t think he was that serious about it and I knew he would want something that’s green to keep his cards in.

His birthday is in September and he’s asked for a bunch of Chinese/korean/jp packs because he knows they’re cheaper and he just wants to add to his collection and open a lot of packs, what he doesn’t know is I’m going to be building him up a very cool binder that he can also learn from. I saw the explore Pokemon sleeves and got a little inspired to add each region and map as the first page for that section, I don’t want to add more than three(?) for each because I want him to enjoy filling it up himself too.

So I’m coming to Reddit for help to narrow down the “best” Pokemon from each region. My son is turning 6 and loves the cute Pokemon, the funny ones and the original 151. His favourites are exeggutor, gengar, mimiku, slowpke, snorlax, and pichu. I’m 25 and to be honest half of these guys and their lore are completely new to me. I would appreciate any recommendations or even suggestions on the binder itself!

I need something to fill the end of my binder

I'm organizing my binders by Generation, and my binder has ten pages left, but that isn't enough for all of Gen V. Any ideas for what I should put in my binder to fill the last pages?

Why do people like vaultx binders alot?

Alot of people like deep pocket monster made alot of people like them. Like what's all this hype about? Anyway, I'm getting my hands on a binder. Any good ones that are subtle like any of the images. Please reply and thanks for reading this 😊!

Card Insertion - Are you a Top or Bottom?

I am currently sleeving a bunch of cards that I got from tcgplayer and I noticed that a lot of different card shops will sleeve there cards differently from one another. Some would be inserted from the top, and others would be inserted from the bottom.

Personally, I prefer inserting from the top since it makes the most sense to me, but I was curious what others might prefer?

Hoenn pages - part 3

Tried to do something a little different for these pages, and definitely looking for feedback!

Any ideas on what other locations in Hoenn I can feature?

Explorers of Sky Binder

Hi all,

I’m trying to put together a binder following the story of explorers of Sky, would love any input from you guys! I’m trying to keep it low cost, so any cheaper suggestions or straight up better cards to include would be appreciated. I struggled a lot with relevant stadiums.

Thought a 2x2 binder would be better than 3x3, sometimes I don’t think the game chapters would have enough for 9 cards, curious what you guys think.

Could only upload 20 images, will try and put the last couple in the comments.

Edit:

Can’t post more than 1 image in comments, last three pages are:
- team charm
- Palkia, darkrai, cresselia, magma basin
- meganium, charizard, treasure tracker, mysterious treasure
- rescue scarf, Shaymin sky, pikachu, prinplup (meant to be the game cover)

Showing off a few of my WIP pages!

First page is supposed to be a flower theme, but I have yet to get all my dream cards, so Altaria, Maractus and Victini are filling the spots for now lol

I made an app to plan your binders (Michi Method)

https://pokeartsy.vercel.app/ (100% free, no ads)

Hey all, I'm sure there's some versions of a binder planning app out there, but I wanted to incorporate the Michi Method into my planning so I built this app. You can upload images, crop them as needed, add borders, etc.

Please let me know if this is helpful and any feature suggestions!
