I genuinely don't see anything special about it. It's bulk is supposedly really high but it's hp isn't that high, it's meta coverage is okay? It covers like 7 pokemon and yet by itself it has CABA for its overview I just don't get it.
I thought UL would be an escape from these damn gimmick Pokemon with effects, I hate them. How do people have to time to grind so many xls? It crazy because it’s not rare either, I’m seeing mimicku a lot
Hi again. Noob here. Wondering how critical it is to have the PvP IV set (i.e. 0/15/15) when battling? I compared a few Pokemon and the difference between my almost perfect IV pokemon and the PvP was only a few points in defense. Ive been in a few matches where we both were down to slivers of HP so... worth it?
How much is each defense point worth and does it really make a difference? Im playing GL and am currently at Rank 19. Highest I've gotten so far.
I just kinda want to know if I should be actively searching for these specific IVs as I've probably thrown several viable pokemon away.

Just wondering, is it better to use Pokemon with whatever iv I have that are high ranking in PvP or should I only use Pokemon that have good iv but are like 100-300 PvP ranked?
Also one more.
I heard people doing 4-1 and then losing a game and so on. Is that viable for me as I don’t have a PvP team good enough right now. I’m tank 20 and lose a lot. Better for me to farm the resources right now?

Maybe a site where it’s sorted by elo or region etc?!
I use pvpoke etc for meta analysis and teamcheck but not sure if they have a feature like that… I think not.
Background: I like to play spicy Pokémon teams in great league and enjoy catching people offfguard with Pokémon they maybe don’t know as good as others… (I always tank a bit to play between 2000 and 2200)… hate it when I only face the 3 same meta teams lol the time…

Question is in the title. I've recently started playing GBL and I'm working on getting a good box together. I've managed to get a R20 Melmetal and used one of my 2 eTM to get the charged attack I needed.
When I use Oak Coliseum the team that's recommended is Altaria (R91, lead), Florges (R43, swap) and Melmetal (R20, closer). I'm using Sky Attack / Flamethrower on Altaria and haven't got Chilling Water on Florges.
So what I'd like to know: eTM on Florges for Chilling Water? Or should I get Moonblast on Altaria and swap out Florges? I have other Pokémon that need the eTM (Corviknight R2 for Iron Head, Tinkaton R8 for GHammer, Umbreon R69 for Last Resort..) but I don't have enough experience to see the best team options with those Pokémon.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi Reddit. I promise you I'm not trolling. But I need advice on how to play this RNG Simulator.
Amateur of this game coming in peace. I play alot of other PvP style mobile games and I just wonder. How do you all cope playing this game with it's buggy health and sheer rng of who presses a button faster. Or lag due to server issues.
I don't understand how this can be a serious game. It's almost rage inducing. What can I do to have better RNG and press buttons quicker?

The encounters for the GBL are showing all the legendaries as possible rewards, not just the current one in raids. How long will this be a thing?
I have 2 meltans, one with Ivs of 4/14/15 and one with 0/12/13. Which one should I go ahead and evolve?
Assuming I'm using a meta team, right movesets and learn to count moves, how much effort do you need to put into it cus I just want the libre Pikachu and nothing else but if it's like way too much effort then I might not do it, thanks!

I really wanna use my hundo Metagross in master league and I read somewhere that shadow claw is the best so I used the ETM for it but it’s underwhelming, however I’m new to using Metagross so I’m not sure. Should I switch her back to bullet punch or is there something else that charges quicker? I’ve only been playing six months and only been playing master league for three and my personal goal is to hit Ace this season. I’m at 1850~ or so and I feel like everyone is just way faster than me.
Am I wrong?
I just had a battle where I had my Jumpluff in against a Kingdra. I farmed the Kingdra down to 1 or 2 HP, and it threw a Swift. Normally I would just keep farming all the way down. But I knew my opponent had an Empoleon with a Drill Peck loaded that would be very close to knocking out my Jumpluff. The Empoleon was within range of a KO from an Energy Ball.
I correctly predicted that my opponent would try to swap in and throw the Drill Peck before I could react. So as soon as Kingdra’s Swift hit, I immediately hit Energy Ball. My opponent switched in their Empoleon, won CMP and was still able to throw their Drill Peck.
I managed to live on 1 HP and knock out the Empoleon with my Energy Ball. And I know for a fact that it was CMP - the game didn’t register a Fairy Wind, and my Energy Ball went right after the Drill Peck without me having to tap it again.
Should the Energy Ball not have registered on the same turn that the switch occurred (before they would have been able to use a turn to throw Drill Peck)?
