we received our polestar 4 LRSM MY26 in magnesium color.
It's a pre-owned sold by polestar dealer, with pilot, plus packs and 21" wheels. Interior is microtech with zinc decoration.
We had tough time trying to decide between magnesium and storm color.
Very nice and smooth ride despites some little software glitches and obviously lane keep assist which isn't one of the smoothest.

Picking up my new P4 this weekend (!!) and I’m looking for recommendations on rubber floor mats.
For those who have a P4:
-Would you recommend OEM or aftermarket?
-What mats did you go with?
-How’s the fit and coverage, especially around the sides and rear?
-Any issues with them sliding around or interfering with the pedals?
Main priorities are good coverage, easy to clean, and something that still looks nice/doesn’t feel overly bulky.
Would love to see photos if you have them. Thanks!

Picked up my P4 Stratus last week, and everything has been wonderful except for one little bubble on the door panel. Has anyone been through this? It should be under warranty right?
I didn't notice it when I was picking up the car. Just saw it last night.

Today, we encountered an Android bug. Here are the steps to resolve it:
Swipe down from approximately 3 cm below the top edge of the screen.
Then swipe as far as possible across the screen.
First, attempt to restart the system. If it does not restart,
Perform a factory data reset.
You will see the second screen (wait 10–15 minutes).
Then, you will return to the Polestar start menu.
Begin the setup process again.
I occasionally have trouble getting my P4 to charge on public chargers, normally blaming the charger.
Yesterday at a larger services with a large bank of Ionity fast charges I tried one, “unable to connect to car”, moved and “unable to connect to car”. I moved again and this time my mind was in “stupid effing car” mode when it didn’t work. I got in did a reset, which for some reason set the alarm off and got the horn blaring. Sure enough I got a successful connection and the charger kicked off at 200 kWh.
Makes me wonder how many times I’ve blamed a charger and moved on, when it may have been this “stupid effing car” all along.

I am a happy P2 driver for over 2 years now.
My lease is ending in a few days and I was hesitant about purchasing a P4 even with the current offers due to the US ban.
However when I found a SM stratus color one finally available, I immediately put a deposit to reserve it.
Surprisingly the dashcam feature was one of the main deciding factors for this purchase decision!
Getting the 4 for 34K with all the taxes and fees included was a no brainer to me.
I don't see myself driving another car for at least 5 years so I am not worried about the resale value when I am already getting a 45% discount upfront!
Every time I start I get a message that the front radar sensor is blocked. I'd like to check it, but I've been unable to find out where it is.

In the came view settings, this option seems really helpful. It is set to on for me.
However it never triggers when nearing obstacles. I can hear the warning sound but the camera is never turned on and I have to do it manually.
Any resolution?
Has anyone seen the ozone color in person? It looks bluish purple to me. I’m wondering if that’s an accurate perception.
Meet Data! Today I picked up my new Polestar P4 LRSM (all black outside and inside) and turned in my P2. I have to admit I was a little bummed about giving the P2 back, it has been such a great car, but this P4 is a step above so far.
I had a few issues with getting it to recognize the right driver profile at first but that was easily fixed with an infotainment reboot. So far the ride is much better, the lane assist performs better, and overall comfort is a step up. I complete forgot that it has a massage mode on the seats, which is amazing. However, one of the things I’ve been looking forward to most about the P4 is the landscape oriented middle screen! It might seem odd or insignificant to some, but the fact I can now watch YouTube or Prime truly fullscreen makes me so happy. 🤣🤣
Looking forward to enjoying this one. And yes, I named the car after the android on Star Trek. Haha!

Generally pretty happy owner of my P4. But I find the app quite unintuitive and don't really see the reason for certain choices.
- The tiles confuse quick actions with more information. They should be separated. If I click the tile for charge, I want to enter the detailed options, not change the charging limit. Same with the climate control.
- After setting climate control to a certain time, there were a few counter intuitive popups. I can't remember the details but something like you cannot set climate control for a specific day if it is not recurring weekly (why??)
- Why is the flash light option confused with the location tile?
- Missing features: I can't change the charge voltage limit in the app, I cannot park/unpark the car from the app. I got laughed at by a friend who has a KIA for how simple the app is.
Nothing that upsets too much but I hope they treat this as raw draft and keep improving.
Installing an microSD card has been on the to do list for a few weeks. Finally got around to purchasing the microSD extender cable and a 64 gb card and went to install the set.
I struggled for about 10 minutes while our little one was climbing all over the place and playing with the screen when I realized that there was something already in the slot. I pull it out expecting it to be a piece of plastic, then see that it's a SanDisk 128 gb card. Very confused, I swap the 64 for the 128 and took about a minute to wiggle it in properly. Card is now formatted and ready for recording.
With that being said, anyone experience this from a car you purchased directly from the dealer? I'm in Europe if it makes a difference.
We have a 4 LRDM being delivered next week and was wondering if anyone had a list of things to check or do with the dealership before leaving?

We’ve owned our P4SM for a little over a week. I’ll do a longer post comparing it to our other EV’s, but for now here’s 1 good thing and 1 bad thing.
1 Bad Thing
After about four days, much of our ADAS disappeared. The yellow lines just don’t come up (see pic). The cruise control will still work and adapt our speed to the cars ahead, but none of the lane assistance works. I’ve reset the screen under both of our profiles, turned Pilot Assist off and on several times, parked it far away so it wouldn’t pick up any keys overnight, cleaned the cameras and sensors, and driven extensively over the same roads where it worked well before. I’d appreciate any advice you have.
1 Good Thing
Our digital keys have been flawless. I read about issues, so I asked the dealer to call the Polestar Dealer Help Line to assist when they couldn’t set it up to our satisfaction. I’m amazed about how well it works. If I approach the car first and my wife comes later and gets in the drivers seat, it loads her profile. If we get out and change seats, it switches to my profile. It seems to know who opened the drivers door even though there are two people in the car with digital keys and separate profiles. I hope I’m not jinxing us by calling this out.
I've had my P4 a few weeks now, and due to some trips have put over 1000 miles on it already. Been very happy with it overall.
Coming from a Tesla, one of the things I like about the Polestar is that you can switch between "adaptive cruise control with lane keeping" and "adaptive cruise control only" by pressing the button on the left side of the steering wheel as you drive. (On the Tesla you can only switch modes while parked.)
On highways I'll use the line keeping but don't like having it on in the city or mountain roads, so on/off is nice.
But a couple of days ago I noticed that the button doesn't switch between the 2 modes anymore -- I can only do adaptive cruise control _without_ lane keeping.
Anyone else encounter this? Maybe it's a setting I flipped somewhere without realizing it. Or a bug.
Anybody else noticing the stereo doesn’t get loud? I can convo with the volume on max in mine. 3 days old.
