Cardboard Ballistus Dreadnought

I made it a while ago, but never had time to paint it, until now. I‘m pretty pleased with the outcome.

Eliminators?

Do these read as Eliminators? I had 5 leftover Infiltrators and wanted to make some other units with them. Would these be ok in a casual game?

From fruitboxes to Volkus the path is short

Follow me on IG for the full process:

VIKING CRAFTS

Designed around the Volkus layout, but reworked with my own vision, new structures, new lines of sight, new storytelling.

Every piece shaped to feel brutal, industrial, alive.

And yes… the red vegetation is a small tribute to one of my favorite movies ever: Sin City.

A touch of contrast, violence and atmosphere to give this battlefield even more soul.

Hope you like it brothers!

Advice on painting floors

Need painting advice. I tend to build things just because I have a thought, but then never get around to painting ans doing the final touches that would make them 'finished'.

A while back i realized most terrain builds don't really include flooring and having that 40k floor tile really makes a difference. So I carved some out of nylon gasket material. Now I need to paint and finish them but really don't know what to do. No idea what colors would look good or if I should try to marble it or weather it.

Any advice or suggestions would be apreciated.

foldable Volkus terrain

I'm building a replica of the Volkus terrain as a foldable model to save on storage space and money. It's mainly made of cardboard, PVA glue, rocket sticks, egg cartons, and coffee stirrers.
