I got my first PLG bag 3 weeks ago. I’m obsessed with it. It’s beautiful. It’s a small meadow koala.

I don’t want the leather to crack/get damaged. What are some care products to take care of it? Conditioners etc?

Ordering anything from the PLG website is very expensive for me, as I’m in Canada, so bonus if the product is available from Amazon.ca

Just got my first PLG bag (probably my only bag as I bought it hoping for it to last a long time) and I got an AP black pebble mini crossbody and it's genuinely almost perfect! The only cosmetic issue is that the interior has the batch stamping on the leather hide, but I just think it looks super cool and adds character!

I only went with AP because the mini crossbody and medium crossbody were both sold out in black pebble and I knew it was the finish I wanted, but I'm super happy with the build and leather quality!

Hi all, I have a few bags from portland leather and they have all been very good quality, even the seconds pieces I have purchased and grab bag items have been great. I am really happy with the quality and pricing. My ONLY complaints is I wish the bags were lined in a light color so it was easier to find your items.

Are there any buy/sell/trade forums or website that has resellers? I know this sub doesn't allow buying or selling, but if anyone knows of a place please dm me.

Any suggestions on what to do with grab bag pieces you aren't into to? My SIL and both get grab bags and normally swap with each other, but she recently got some pieces we both dislike.

Omg, this leather feels amazing! It's so thick and soft...makes me realize why longtime plg fans are so disappointed in them!

Haven’t ever seen anyone talk about the DIY charms you can make in-store and I’m unsure if this is every location or just the one in Columbus, Ohio.

I’m visiting the area and saw they had a PLG so checked it out while doing some shopping. Was about to leave before buying anything (because I’m good on leather goods for a while) and saw they had a DIY charm station.

They had the Picasso, dragonfly, and a few leaf options. It was overall a fun experience and I enjoyed getting to pick out the colors rather than having to go with their pre-made options.

Im fairly new to PLG and only have the large koala in cold brew and I love it! I'm looking to get a second bag but can't decide which style to get. I'm a toddler mom but I usually only carry my personal items and then wipes dialed and one outfit. I've been eyeing to large Sloan, the classic Lola, and the aspen. I do want it easy to carry and easy to access the items I need while holding or chasing the toddler. So tell me your opinions on what bag I should be looking at. I also prefer the colors nutmeg and cold brew

I know that all are not, and in general, I know that many of the smooth leathers are not, so does that just leave the pebbled leathers? Are all of the pebbled leathers full-grain? I'm trying to make a list of those I can confirm.

I’m looking to buy a bag for grad school and saw the sale for these beauties - however, all the OS classic totes zippered are sold out in the colors I want. I’m looking at reviews and some say that the large does not hold a 15 inch laptop zippered - which would be a big deal for me since I need to ride the subway and don’t want folks to be able to reach into my bag in close quarters.

Can anyone let me know if their large classic tote zips over a 15 inch laptop? Should I wait and hope someone will resell the OS after this sale?

Question.... How do Insiders admins not know when restocks happen. I know they're not in logistics, but people are always asking about restocks everyday. It's starting to get annoying. The not knowing and the constant asking, both.

Hello - has anyone successfully added a magnetic closure to a PLG leather tote? I have the large tote in night owl and the leather is kind of floppy which I love but I wouldn’t mind it having a magnetic closure. I do not want to put any holes in the leather and I’m looking for an adhesive option but not sure if it would work. Last thing I want to do is ruin the bag! Thanks!
