It’s pretty, slouchy and all, but the chemical smells seems to not go away even after 8 hours of airing … I’m currently pregnant is it even safe to be near it ?? 😭 smells similar to bleach ?! ! Any methods to get rid of the smell.. ? TIA 😢
I got my first Portland Leather bag and I'm disappointed by the quality.
First, though, the best thing: the shape. It has a very cute, casual slouch. This was going to be a weekend, casual mom, Target-run kind of bag for me. But I'm having trouble getting past the quality.
The leather feels plasticky, and it squeaks where the handle strap rubs together. Never experienced that in a bag. The zipper seems very cheap; it's wavy, and catches when I try to zip it closed unless pulled straight first.
The handle stitching is noticeably uneven, even in black.
I realize it's not a luxury bag, but this is still really hard to accept at this price point. Even cheaper no-name Amazon bags don't have these quality issues. I feel like this is the kind of thing I'd expect to find at TJMaxx at least half the cost.
i am going to be traveling internationally on avianca and wanted to bring this os aspen because my large is a little tight. it is 16.5” x 15.75” x 5’75” while the personal item limit is listed as 18” x 14” x 8”. but, it’s a very slouchy bag and isn’t as big as the dimensions when i’m wearing it or if it’s smushed down. do you think it would be fine to use? thank you!
My medium koala arrived yesterday and I quickly realized when using for the first time today that the strap is too short to wear Crossbody and it's also too small to fit the items I want in it! Ugh! From what I read, the strap is the same length on the large so that doesn't seem to solve the issue. Please direct me to a longer strapped Crossbody model that will fit my needs!! Thanks!
