I don’t usually go in for the genre nit-picking, but what are some examples of songs that sound Power Metal AF, but aren’t by bands generally considered Power Metal?

Couple of bangers of the top of my head:

Beneath the Howling Stars - Cradle of Filth (tbh the entire Cruelty and the Beast album sounds like a PM album with harsh vocals)

My young, swiss powermetal inspired band has just released our first single Prometheus Fire ! Filmed on a ruin

And yes, I am aware that we have a viking look but sing about a Greek God haha. Two of us are literature students…

Not nearly as fond of them as many people but I like this song.

I've known about this band for a long time but never really took the time to listen through their catalog. Beginning to think they're underrated!
