Base 31 show start time?

We are heading in for a couple of nights, specifically for the Father John Misty show on Saturday night. Tickets say start time 7:30 PM, but I’m having a hard time finding out if that is the show start time, or just doors open? I see the patio at the facility says they open at 6:30 on the patio. If anybody has any intel, we would be appreciative! Thank you.

Mid-Year Mod Team Check In

🍁 Happy Canada Day!

It has been almost a year since we announced our new Community Rules and hopefully kicked off a new vibe here on our local sub. In that time, we've banned several bot/spam accounts but only one wannabe edgelord, so a big thank you to everyone else for contributing to the health of this community!

By the Numbers

  • Of the top posts of all time, 6 have been posted in the last twelve months
  • The top post this year was about snow falling sideways and was memetastic.
  • The most upvoted posts are from locals about County Life
  • Top topics are from visitors asking for advice

We know there is a balance to be struck between visitor support and not feeling like a customer service desk. You have been voting with your downvotes on the visitor questions, but you haven't been providing much content to offset it. We want to help.

Show Us a Good Time

To keep this community healthy and vibrant, our challenge to the loyalists is to post a little more. Share a picture of that great sunset, share the cool find at an antique store. Show us what regular life is like for those that live here.

To incentivize you, you might notice that our subreddit is missing a top banner. If you want your photo to be featured there all you have to do is tag it with the new post-type "Eye Candy" and we will know you're happy for us to put it there. Upvotes will influence what gets selected! (But to avoid a Boaty McBoatface situation, we reserve the right to curate.)

Tell Us You Care

We've also enabled User Flair. This should help you and us identify the regulars from the drive-bys, and show that you're invested in building this community.

And dare we ask...

Everyone loves to tell unpaid volunteers what to do, but no one wants to be an unpaid volunteer. For now, we're open to suggestions. Be nice and it can stay that way.

That's it. Thanks for being here and let's have a great season and another great year!

Sandbanks tips welcome

Hi everyone 🫶🏼 we’re heading to Prince Edward County next week.

I’m looking for any tips you may have. Where should we eat ? Where should we grab coffee and drinks ? I heard there is a few nice winery.

Any tips for Sandbanks provincial park ? We want to go the beach with the kids. Should we arrive early ? Do we have to buy passes in advance?

Thanks!

Base31 - Queuing question

I’ll be attending Base31 for the first time this friday for a concert!

I was told that early queuing is not permitted for this show, I’m wondering if anyone knows more about this?

Since the venue did let me know that they recommend queuing doesn’t start anytime 1 hour before doors. Do they actually enforce this?

Two (2) tickets to Angine De Poitrine June 26

Have an extra pair I’m happy to sell at FV as friends had to cancel last minute. Can’t transfer so you will need to meet me at gates and I can scan you in. 2 x tickets would be $139.84 - Message for avails!

Groups / pages for posting a lost cat

I am wondering what are the best pages and groups for posting about a lost cat in the northeast PEC area (east of Northport) I am asking because I am relatively new to the area and I am not sure what pages are popularly visited by locals in this area.
