"Stay With You" (Goo Goo Dolls), a Catradora AMV [Spoilers S5!]
The second Catradora AMV I've made, this one initially inspired by the lyric "now, wake up this world" and the image of Adora bringing life back to Etheria.
What would the show be like if it had content warnings instead of TV ratings?

Just a thought
how come Catra was the only one who got her hair cut when she got chipped but Spinnerella and Micah did not?
Sharing a fan art of Horde Prime I made in 2023 as I’m now rewatching the show.
Adora, She-Ra, and Catra sketchs by Kyle Starks (The Legend of Ricky Thunder, Sexcastle, Rock Candy Mountain)
5x8 pencil & ink on card, commissioned originals from HeroesCon 2026 in Charlotte, NC.
Fan Fiction Friday #338 It Mah Birthday - 6/26/26
Hello, fellow She-Ra fans! This is Fan Fiction Friday, a place to discuss any fan fiction you have read or written throughout the week.
Please leave a link and a brief description of any fic you are reading so others can read along too. Thank you!
I may be stretching here, but...
Anyone else think this might be Saturn Girl and Mon El? Just thought it was interesting that they get a framed shot.
Even more She-Ra x Epic (I really need a new title)
So Kyle as Polites
I think Lonnie and Rogelio can share Eurylochus role to be honest, don't want to leave Rogelio out with how amazing he looks as a greek Warrior.

I want to clarify the armors are not meant to be historically accurate, mostly just look really cool, also they are not in full armor here, more just with their light clothes now the war is over.

I really enjoy drawing this, although My multishipper heart (Scorptra/Scorfuma/"Let them all kiss" heart) is a bit sad of setting Scorpia as Calypso lol
But I think i'll just also make non AU related art to heal that wound later.

Ps. I LOVE Double Trouble, this is just fitting for the story because of the Shapeshifting, but I love them, please don't think otherwise
I've created ten lines of dialogue for if the show were to continue for a sixth season. Which characters would say them?
- The Horde may be defeated, but there are still factions out there that refuse to surrender.
- Having your parents and Adam in your life doesn't mean less for us, Adora. It means more for you.
- Let me get this straight. All this time you were a real princess, and you never told us?
- When we get back to Etheria, we're building you your own castle.
- First we find your family, and now some count appears, saying you should marry his nephew!? This isn't right!
- Pfft ha ha ha ha ha! Is that really your name!? Skeletor!?
- Hey, Three-eyes! (refering to Tri-Klops) Do you have a hard time seeing with that thing?
- The First Ones came from the Dark Hemisphere? This changes everything!
- Shadow Weaver knew you were a real princess, and now we learn Horde Prime has a son? Who else is keeping secrets?
- So what I'm hearing is Horde Prime intentionally spared Eternia not only because it would've been destroyed eventually but also so that he could use the power in Castle Grayskull as an alternate weapon if the Heart of Etheria failed. Is that correct?
I'm convinced Catra is a demi-god (Do NOT read unless you've finished the series)
At the very start Adora and Catra seem to be roughly equal strength wise. After obtaining the sword and finding out she's She-Ra, Adora seems capable enough to solo about a dozen Horde tanks and probably up to 100 Horde grunts with one hand tied behind her back, but we still see Catra being only just shy of or about equal to She-Ra in a fight.
This trend continues throughout the series with the only real mopping-the-floor-with-Catra moment happening during the battle of Brightmoon when all the Rebellion Princesses combine their power to launch a rainbow death-wave.
In season two Bow and Glimmer are really only able to capture her because she is 100% toying with them. In season 3 she takes over the Crimson Waste in a matter of hours, solo. Yeah, Scorpia's there cheering her on, but all the actual one-sided sadistic humiliation bouts are solely Catra's doing.
Portal-Catra gets punched tf out by a non-transformed Adora, yes, but keep in mind at that moment Adora's running on a full tank of desperate fear-adrenaline-rage, Catra has already been half-melted by Portal Problems, and she was also kinda caught off guard due to her own arrogance.
In season 4 she does kinda get slightly flattened by Glimmer dropping an exploding building on her, but she also soundly kicks the crap out of Hordak with little effort once she's kited him around the Fright Zone to gauge what he's really capable of.
During the first few episodes of season 5 she's about the same as she is at the end of season 4. It's post-resurrection and series finale Catra who really exemplifies what she's truly got to offer to anyone unlucky enough to threaten to take away her sweet sword lady.
When Adora regains control of her magic in Control we now find she no longer needs to breathe, can basically ignore gravity or the lack thereof, and can near-effortlessly swat down 5+ Prime-Horde fast-assault ships like mosquitos while she's at it. She has very nearly (or already) achieved apotheosis.
We also know the First Ones left a nasty Cthulu-Worm thing behind (that Horde Prime states is "capable of taking down one even as strong as She-Ra") as a security system for their planet-sized universe destroying secret weapon to KEEP SHE-RA FROM ABSORBING THE POWER OF THE THING AND POSSIBLY USING IT TO GENOCIDE HER OWN PEOPLE FOR MAKING IT.
Catra was holding her own against this Cthulu-Worm, and I think had somewhat of an advantage on it and would've finished it had she been more focused on it rather than Adora, had a bit more time, and hadn't allowed herself to get distracted by Holo Horde Prime.
Shadow Weaver recognizes the time crunch and Adora's unwillingness to leave Catra behind (and maybe even realises that lesbian sword magic is needed to save the day and keep Adora from being consumed by the Heart), and goes toe-to-toe with the worm as well, but to do so needs to put every ounce of power she's got into just holding it off, and to kill it she has to turn herself into a living nuclear weapon.
Catra has no magic. No sorcery or Runestone. No Sword of Power. Nothing but love, determination, basic combat training, and enough raw physical power to dance with a technological eldritch horror specifically designed to kill a magical demi-god.
Yes, She-Ra and the magic of the Heart are required to finally get rid of the Immortal God-King Of The Universe, but because of his virus this may have become impossible without a certain CAT-alyst to bring out the true potential of the Lesbian Sword Magic.
In conclusion, I believe that if series finale Catra time-travelled back to S1E1 she could've likely solo'd the entire Horde army and deprived us of such an amazing and heart-wrenching story of queerness, love, acceptance (of oneself and others, flaws and all), and the power of a united community to overcome those who think themselves too powerful to be opposed.
If you've made it all the way here, I hope you enjoyed it and thanks so much for reading even though I am terrible at writing, explaining, summarizing, and have a tendency to ramble even in text (^_^)'

Even more Plumerian Caretaker
We have more of the background character, the Plumerian Caretaker. These will also probably be the last ones.
What other stories feel similar?
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well! This show has been sustaining me since I was introduced to it a year and a half ago. I love it so much. I was wondering if any of you have found other stories that feel similar, preferably books but I'm open to all sorts of things if they're good. My experience is that when I find something that really resonates me, no matter how much I want to, I never find something that's exactly like it and just as good, and I have no illusions that I'll do that with She Ra, either. But maybe I can find other stories that do some of the same things right?
We'd be here far too long if I got into everything I love about the show, but some top level highlights are the excellent sapphic protagonists, the complex emotional stakes and characters, and the themes of kindness, love, and friendship. Some other things I enjoyed were the cool ladies with swords, the unique science fantasy setting, and the happy ending.
Some stuff that does feel similarly for me:
This is How You Lose the Time War, A Memory Called Empire (And its sequel), Spear, by Nicola Griffith, On a Sunbeam, by Tillie Walden
Some stuff I've been recommended that doesn't seem like what I'm looking for:
Gideon the Ninth, Isle in the Silver Sea
I'd be really honored if you could please recommend me some other things to check out. She Ra means the world to me and I would be honored if you could recommend some other stories I can hold near my heart. Thank you very much :)
