So with the new Masters of the Universe, I noticed some references to the Original 87 movie, either these references are on purpose or coincidence idk. But I'm gonna list them off.

1. Adam landing on Earth in a swamp, ok might be a stretch with this one but similar to He-Man & the others landing in a swampy location in the original.
2. The Dolph Lundgren cameo needs no explanation, especially his "Good Journey" line.
3. Skeletor appearing in the sky as a projection, similar to that in the original 87 movie.
4. Pigboy returning to give Skeletor his staff.
5. Karg returning.
6. Gwildor appearing in the end credits
7. Evil-Lyn sneaking off while Skeletor & He-Man fight.
8. The after credit scene indicating Skeletor will return in a sequel.

That's all I got, were there any more I missed?

Listing my top 10 favorite MOTU figures. As I've mentioned, my love for the franchise stems from the toys, not so much the cartoons. So favorite toys essentially mean favorite characters.

I'm using vintage images, but this is more for consistency. It does not mean the vintage figure is the be all end all, it's more for design and fun.

Here are some of the various 1987 MOTU Movie-themed figures released over the years. Some of them are of course redesigns of existing characters, and others were designs created for the movie itself.

My favorite design to come out of that movie has always been Saurod. A fantastic and menacing looking character. He's never looked better than in the MOTU Classics version, in my opinion!

Not every character was produced more than once.
But of those that were, my favorites tend to be, again, from the MOTU Classics line.
