Who would’ve won if the fight didn’t end here?

Who would’ve won if the fight didn’t end here?

The whole scenario was honestly crazy. The turtles & mutanimals had the opportunity and advantage they were waiting for, with Shredder cornered and alone. Yet everyone was brought down in seconds.

Kinda scary to think.. if Slash hadn’t brought the statue down and opened up an escape, could Shredder simply have killed everyone right there in his dungeon? He had his claws out seemingly ready for the killing blow, and backup with Tiger Claw was already on their way…

The turtles were also ready to straight-up kill Shredder too at this point in the series, with Leo encouraging Raph to just stab him moments earlier. How crazy would it be to see it play out — if the Foot would simply overwhelm everyone, or if the turtles could persevere and end the war there as well

How was shredder so strong as a human man?

A recent post was talking about how Shredder tanked 8v1 like he had observation haki and it got me thinking:

There's another level of aura (is that what the kids say?) when it comes to giving Splinter and the turtles literal nightmares without any supernatural powers or mutagen. Just karate and spite??

I wonder what the general power scaling of the show looks like when the main threat is a guy with unresolved jealousy issues and a helmet?

Season one was great for many reasons, but he was the main one for me personally. The turtles often had to plan their attacks around him, not directed at him, because this man dodged two business days earlier and attacked like he was always on a bad day. He was ridiculous (in a good way). Thanks for coming to my ted talk 🍕🐢

Ps: sorry if my writing is confusing, eng isn't my native language and I think too fast lol

The animation in this sequence is some of the best in the entire show, I think this scene is so underrated 🔥

Rewatching this I couldn’t believe how amazing the animation is here, season 1 was well animated of course but because it got so much better across the show, I overlooked how great it is here. But I remember this scene always standing out to me when I was younger and now I see why.

One of favourite details about this fight is Raph’s growth & intelligence

In this episode (and in general) Raph’s impulsivity gets him into trouble, he rushes into things and it got him kidnapped. However in the final fight of the episode, EVERYBODY else rushes to attack Shredder and gets beaten easily. However Raphael waits until Shredder has been somewhat tired out & THEN charges him, knowing he’ll have a better advantage - which he does, because him and Leo last the longest against him and came the closest to beating him. Even tho they didn’t defeat Shredder here, it’s still a great lesson that to get the best result, you need to have patience instead of rushing into things.

If the turtles, Splinter, and April had to choose an Infinity Stone to use, which one would each of them pick? Either based on usefulness or their personal values.

Can we all agree Casey had the biggest balls in the entire series to jab Shredder with his taser???

Casey didn’t stand a chance against Shredder, but he at least had the guts to try and put up a fight….

My TMNT Leadership Ranking

Disclaimer: This analysis is NOT based on any single specific TV show incarnation, but rather my own deep dive into the core personality traits, psychological baggage, and tactical potential of the brothers across the general lore. It’s a character-driven and narrative study from an analytical perspective, rather than a definitive ranking of canon power levels. Let's keep the comments chill and focused on character psychology!

I feel like if Leonardo wasn't burdened with being the oldest and the leader, he’d be just like his Rise incarnation; the traditional leader role suppressed his true self. On the other hand, Raphael is inherently unfit to lead—it has nothing to do with his temper, it’s purely a matter of tactical intelligence (sorry). My personal ranking for their leadership potential has always been Leo first, Mikey second, and Raph dead last.

I don‘t think Donatello is a better fit than Mikey. Mikey actually understands team coordination and emotional balance. He only acts childish right now because his brothers overprotect him, and he knows Leo is always there to shoulder the burden.

Honestly, Mikey could potentially be an even better leader than Leo, he just wouldn’t be the conventional type, which might make the narrative tone feel slightly bizarre. It fits a gag comic but doesn't quite match the traditional TMNT vibe. Yet, that doesn't mean he's incompatible with serious, angsty storylines. If he took the mantle and realized the weight of responsibility, he wouldn’t be so playful anymore. On top of that, he would have to consciously deal with and mask his ADHD traits (which, ironically, Rise Leo sort of does too). At that point, wouldn't Mikey basically become just like Peter Parker?

Mas alguém notou isso ?

Alguém notou que o rosto do destruidor está menos queimada no episódio “aniquilação part 2” ? Tem até um pouco de cabelo na cabeça dele, nas primeiras temporadas o rosto dele e bem mais queimado

I found this last year. Not sure how I never saw it 9 years ago or any point until November 2025, but maybe that's a good thing, because what if 3rd grade me lost it? I haven't played it yet because when I was going to charge my DS that ain't been used in 6 years, I saw the charge port needs fixing.

Winter

Why.... don't we EVER see snow in the show?

Like the ONLY instance of snow in NYC in this show i can remember was by the end of season 2.

And even then it wasn't really snowy snowy

More like late autumn.

Why does this show only take place in the summer/autumn/spring

Why don't we ever see turtles adventures during the winter

And concidering story spans multiple years. At the very least 3 years for first 4 seasons.

We literally don't see anything that happens in 3 winters aka 9 months

What

Nothing happened then?

The villains for some reason stop scheming and turtles fighting every winter?

They all agree to a break? A ceasefire?

They fall asleep?

Why don't we ever see winter in the show
