If you lived in this world and could only have one of them as an ally to help you out in life who would you choose?
Perugius, Orsted or Man-God?
The current 100yq arc in a nutshell. Tell me I’m wrong [discussion]
Brandish shows up out of nowhere and saves Lucy from dragon karameel
Aquarius just happens to be in the same area where mercphobia is
Aquarius and mercphobia just happen to know each other
Wed’s rivalry dropped for virtually no reason and then he became a whiny hype tool for Natsu and Lucy
Black faris spawns into the story with no build up and just happens to have acno’s arm and her own villain group cause yes?
Crime sorciere show up randomly and only cobra and racer accomplish anything. That whole feeling about Ultear Meredy had went nowhere. Hell Meredy went nowhere despite being gone from the manga for nearly a decade
Then team b show up cause we need to make this arc longer somehow
Mashima quickly gets bored of both filler and flame and the oracion jobbers so he brings back the Gmg dragons with more hype statements that nobody takes seriously anymore
Ignia gets a new power up as if he wasn’t op already
This mf igneel just won’t stay dead like he’s the new makarov/ultear 😭
Selene and merc just happen to be lovers. This merc guy just knows everybody huh?
Erza just happens to have dragon slayer armor
Erza just happens to have Irene’s power
There’s prob more I forgot about but you get the gist lmao
It’s clear as day that mashima is throwing darts at a board blindfolded when writing this arc lol
So how are we feeling about (spoiler’s) new form? [discussion]
Erza Belserion
I wanted Holy on the team dammit! (RE Fantasia) [discussion]
She from Eden’s zero like eraser is
Ironic that Ghost at a young age was hungrier for the game than Kanan and it reversed when they got older.
When ghost and Tommy rolled up on Kanan in the series finale of raising Kanan, ghost looked even younger than Kanan in that episode 1 flashback when Kanan was encouraged by Raq do stand up to his bullies that took his money in the park.
And skip to high school Kanan didn’t get his first kill till buck 20 (assuming he killed him unless it was D wiz). Even after that and shooting Howard, Kanan didn’t think he wanted that life.
Meanwhile ghost like I said at a younger age than Kanan was ready to get started with Tommy. Sure you can say “well ghost was a little kid he didn’t know what he was saying” but I think it just shows the one of the themes of this universe of how the younger gen of yns are hungrier, more grimy and moving faster in the game than the ones that came before them.
Ghost even in the origins trailer made a whole speech of how he and Tommy should be living like kings and you know damn well ghost gonna be on snake shit to get what he wants in this show.
But skip to their adult years and ghost after seeing what the game leads to, has grown out of it like Marvin. He no longer thinks the game is worth it and wants to get out while keeping the riches he took over the years but couldn’t escape his past or the choices he made.
Meanwhile Kanan lives for the game as it’s the only thing he had at that point cause the nigga was a lonely mf that couldn’t do anything else in life.
Just a cool parallel between them.
Breeze really didn't care about Snaps and Pop or who killed them lol
Bro tells K that he's proud of K for fighting for his family and that he would do the same but when Snaps and Pop get popped he brings it up once and doesn't even care. Bro doesn't even show up to their funeral. In fact, he's happier that he gets to work as stefano's main guy instead of his unc and auntie. Shit is crazy lol.
Also why didn't breeze suspect raq of taking out snaps and pop? With how she was moving and she was the only one who has beef with those two idk why he didn't think to bring it up with kanan or stefano. Or why stefano himself didn't think raq took them out like he did with hafiz's brother.
Who do you think Kanan hated more overall?
Juke for killing Raq or Ghost for putting him in prison?
I think it’s more complicated cause Kanan had more thoughts about killing ghost but was willing to work with him more than juke who he thought was gonna snake him when the moment she got the money from ghost when she held Tariq hostage.
Who gave the best performance in Raising Kanan and had the best lines?
For me it’s either between London brown as Marvin or Joey bada$$ as Unique but might lean towards Brown cause his lines kill me and he did his thing with Marvin in season 5. Hell in season 4 that scene with juke where he said he’s paint the town red 🔥
If Tommy died do you think his name would be remembered or forgotten in the streets?
Comparing him to other gangsters, nobody in the streets remembered or cared when kanan died. The thomas family in general were long forgotten. Same with unique, breeze, snaps and pop, and even few knew who Ghost was after his death as the tajedas had no clue about him.
Only Zion brought him up in book 2 and according to Lobos Ghost;s name was feared in the streets during Ghost's prime. But Tommy has made so much noise in both New York and Chicago do you think his name will carry weight unlike the others or he'll be forgotten?
How different do you think young Tommy will be like in Origins?
We've talked about how much of a dumbass POS Kanan was in Rk and how grimy Ghost will be in origins but what about tommy? Do you expect him to be the same crash out like in his later years or building up to it like RK did with Juke?
Which catfight rivalry do you prefer?
Kyouka and Mira or Kyouka and Ren?
Zeke gotta be the goofiest character in the power universe
Everything about this dude is hilarious. Who wrote his story? Because this gotta be a inside job ain’t no way the writers thought they cooked with the whole “wrong age plot line” with freaky Zeke 😭
Rewatched Book 2 Ghost and wow this show is a mess
Season 1: okay.
Season 2. Disappointing cause Mecca was a letdown
Season 3: decent
Season 4: TWO PACK OF ASS! Made worse cause they left off in a crazy cliffhanger for season 3 only for them to not drop the ball but chuck that shit off a cliff. Noma was so ass as a villain. Carter was so wasted as an antagonist. Training day bootleg ass mf.
Brayden was so ass this season. Cane is a simp ass bum. In fact, all the tajedas but monet were ass this season. The plot armor is some of the worst I’ve seen in a tv show. Two college kids light up military trained guards and almost kidnap noma’s daughter lol.
The fuck outta here. If only Raq had Tariq’s plot armor she would have won in raising Kanan.
I don’t get how the writers somehow surpassed season 6 of og power in making a shitty season. And I don’t even hate s6.
Could a bloodlusted Immortal beat Thragg if he's infused with the bug juice?
The same bug juice that tech jacket used to nerf viltrumites and allowed allen to one shot them. Could immortal do it or is he still getting blitzed due to speed difference?
