This argument is genuinely the laziest fucking strawman I have ever seen. Valentino is still alive because he's an actual character with plot armor who Viv is obviously not gonna kill off that easily.
Do the math people. Valentino is obviously not the only rapist in Hell. About 1 in 5 people AND CHILDREN are sexually assaulted, there are most likely millions of perpetrators in Hell at this point. Vox says thousands of sinners were killed in each Extermination (I feel like it should be even more than that), therefore TONS of rapists, sex offenders, child predators, etc had to have died in the Extermination by default. It's just that simple. Mfs will do mental gymnastics to try and go against the obvious math that Adam was in fact killing rapists. It's embarrassing. Do better Adam haters.
"The point is Adam isn't going on some heroic crusade" nobody fucking said he was?? 😭 just because Adam kills genuinely awful people doesn't mean we're saying he's a completely good guy and justified. We're just pointing out the fact he's definitely killed many genuinely horrible people. There's a difference. Get that through your head.
"Why are so many overlords still alive" The overlords hide out in their high security ass buildings. Adam clearly isn't made aware of Hell's hierarchy, and wouldn't going after specific people defeat the whole purpose of calling it population control? Y'all are dumb. There are plenty of sinners running around the streets every Extermination, we're shown this. Why TF would the Exorcists waste their time breaking into people's homes to go after specific people?? At that point it's not population control it's fucking bounty hunting, y'all are losing the plot. Not to mention they could be breaking into the homes of Hellborn by accident so that would be a waste of time and might get them in trouble.
Adam is going off what he is told, same as Sera. He believes if a soul is in Hell, then they deserve eternal punishment by God's own decision. Who is he to question that? Especially if he is constantly validated in his beliefs by the people above him. Adam haters treat him like he's the sole evil in Heaven and it's genuinely so stupid. He's a victim of Heaven's system, just like Sera, Lute, and the other Exorcists. I stand by that.
"Adam is scared to go after actually powerful overlords and chooses easy prey" you mean like how he didn't hesitate to attack full power Alastor and how his Exorcists attacked Carmilla when she made the mistake of being outside during the Extermination? 💀 stfu. This literally proves that Adam doesn't deliberately spare overlords or go after only weak sinners. He goes after what's in front of him, even taking out the big threat (Alastor) before going after the normal cannibals. Divine rule says all these souls deserve eternal damnation, so Adam goes after every target with equal determination. This specific anti Adam argument is SO fucking stupid and has to ignore all context and logic to work. I will not allow this false slander against my husband and that's that.
Adam I love you and you mean the world to me I will forever defend you against the dumbass haters 💛💛💛💛
Mods istg if you take this down for defending genocide- I'M NOT DEFENDING THE EXTERMINATIONS I'M JUST EXPLAINING SOMETHING ABOUT THEM!!!
I love you Adam :3
Now I am new to the fandom and recently finished season 1 and 2 and have some mixed feelings about the portrayal of Adam that I wanted to get out and discuss with others. In essence I thought he was interesting and thought he had a lot of potential but when he died I felt myself feeling lacking. First off an element of Adam that always bothered me was how he was treated as this seemingly unsympathetic frat boy ass hole. Now this wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that he is meant to be the first man. The reason why this rubs me the wrong way is because Lilith, the first woman, is treated as this perfect goddess of a woman who was great in everyway and perfect and inspiring. The reason why I bring this up is that I am almost confident that the reason for this is because in the original religious story of Adam, Eve, and Lilith. Lilith and Eve both are demonized and thus a prevalent idea in the church began to circulate about women being the root of evil or innately bad. Obviously this is not true or fair. However in the flipping of the script with having Adam be the problem I feel like it is now almost doing the reverse. Almost framing things as though men are the problem and the original issue and root of all issues in the world. Needless to say I don’t think either mentality is good since neither men nor women are predisposed toward evil so making Adam like this I feel like has a quasi similar harmful effect to having Lilith be like that in the original Bible story. Especially with how men tend to be treated sometimes nowadays in regards to mental health.
However this I could easily forgive if they actually go into Adam’s character and explore him further. Now obviously that feels difficult now with him being “dead” but I’m not entirely convinced things will remain that way, or at least I hope they don’t. From my understanding the creator has intentionally lied about things in the past so fans wouldn’t guess things ahead of time. And it is also common practice at this point for people behind shows and movies to do things like this, for example when everyone working on Spiderman No Way Home swore up and down that Tobey and Andrew wouldn’t be there only for them to be there. So I think it is still distinctly possible Adam could return as a sinner demon or in some other form beyond just being a hallucination which he is in season 2. I really hope this is the case since I feel there is a sort of unspoken tragedy to his character. I mean he is the first man, with that comes crazy expectations however in spite of all of his accomplishments and accolades nobody gives a shit about his death except Lute. What’s more when he does die the look he gives Lute is uncharacteristically peaceful and even happy. It made me wonder a lot about how Adam truly sees her and vice versa. Granted I have always had a thing for villain couples, but even so, I think exploring this relationship further from both sides is something that could be very interesting. What’s more I think a redemption story for Adam just makes perfect sense to bring the show full circle. The idea of Charlie helping redeem the original shows villain I feel would give a very nice over arching message.
Also, again, because he is the first man and all others come from him I really think he needs to be explored further since it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, the implication that comes with him being this asshole and what that is potentially saying for men just in general. Personally I feel when you have a character meant to be the beginning of all men and a character meant to be the beginning of all women, that either they both need to be flawed or they both need to be good because if one is good and the other is bad it comes across as somewhat sexist since if that is meant to be the beginning and the beginning is bad then what does that say about everyone after? Simply put I would like to explore potentially negative aspects of Lilith and positive aspects of Adam's deeper character rather than demonizing one and idolizing the other since I feel that's too simple. And with these two characters there is so much room to explore the issues that plague men and women in society in a really nuanced way. Also the idea of taking this guy who sees himself so highly and making him what he hates most a demon is just poetry. And the idea of how the relationship between him and Lute would be affected if when they reunite she sees he is a demon now could be really interesting to explore. All in all I feel like this character has so much to give and I hope he comes back and feels like he will. But I want other people's opinions on the matter.
Every Dickmaster needs a Clitmistress. Adam is dead and a hallucination now, so Lute can finally tell him...the thing. Oh, yeah, Abel learned what it was: Fifty Shades of the Bible.
I had the discussion with a Lute fan about the exorcists' formation
I understand that Adam dosen't look like a dude who genuinly believe his mission, but I feel he would be literally be the only one who could indocrinate the exorcists, since they seem to spended time only with him, we barely see in the court other than Lute for being the second in command.
I think Adam may have hated the sinners for some things, like maybe the trauma of the fruit or any other, and then forced his view on the exorcists of black and white.
First time I try doing something in this style ^^ 3D models of characters and backgrounds made by me ^^
The Vaggie and Adam framed photos are photoshop edits from show screencaps.
I like to think lute imagines a chainsword through her chest because she secretly is into warhammer40k... I wonder what army she plays... either sisters or black templars...
My patreon if you want to support me or play arround with the models, they are a bit crude tho: https://www.patreon.com/kanilan/posts/adam-and-lute-3d-162734181?pr=true&forSale=true
Sera really thought tossing me out of Heaven would somehow humble me? Please. I’d hit Hell with horns, wings, a guitar, an objectively superior wardrobe, and enough raw presence to make every Overlord start sweating through their ugly little suits.
Call me the Anti-Christ, call me a problem, call me whatever the fuck you want. Just make sure you call me the best-looking sinner in the room.
Heaven’s loss. Hell’s new main event.

but niffty is cooler (im new here)
Lute being the 0.5%
Pride post time, because now that Adam and Abel are both known, I obviously have to drag the first family into the rainbow spotlight too.
Canon may have its version, but my headcanon is standing here with a bi Adam flag, sunglasses on, refusing to leave. Abel can be the sweet one, Adam can be the loud disaster, and together they look like Heaven’s most awkward family photo finally got colour-corrected by Pride month.
Anyway, happy Pride from the original dickmaster and his son.

It’s summer, bitches. Grab your sunscreen, swim trunks, cold drinks, and a volleyball you’re ready to lose at, because we’re going to the beach.
No Extermination plans. No meetings. No demons ruining the vibe. Just sun, sand, the Exorcists, and Heaven’s hottest commander looking objectively incredible in swimwear.
Lute keeps yelling “Be careful, Adam!” like I haven’t been the blueprint for reckless perfection since humanity started.
Beach volleyball at noon. Pick your team wisely. I’m not carrying losers twice.

For anyone wondering why this Adam is still yelling on Reddit instead of being dead in a ditch where Niffty left him, here is the account canon.
Adam survived Niffty’s attack, but only barely.
The angelic blade did enough damage to make everyone believe he was dead. After Lucifer’s beating, the repeated wounds, and the collapse of his angelic power, his body completely shut down. To Heaven, his presence vanished. To Hell, he looked like a corpse. So everyone assumed the obvious: Adam was dead.
The problem is, Adam is not a normal Exorcist.
He is the first man, a Winner, and an angel with far more raw divine energy than most people realise. Niffty’s knife pierced his physical body, but it did not fully destroy the angelic core anchoring his soul. Instead of dying permanently, his body forced itself into a deathlike stasis to stop that core from burning out.
Because it happened in Hell, with an angelic weapon, after the portal closed and his power was already shattered, Heaven could not properly pull him back or detect him. His soul basically got jammed between realms. Not alive enough to be retrieved. Not dead enough to stay gone.
Heaven registered him as dead. Abel was promoted. Lute grieved him. Hell celebrated. Everyone moved on.
Unfortunately for literally everyone involved, Adam did not.
He was later found under the wreckage near the old battlefield by demons scavenging angelic remains. They thought they had found a valuable corpse, until the corpse started breathing, bleeding gold, and being a complete asshole about it.
After that, he was hidden away and forced to recover in Hell. Too weak to return to Heaven, too proud to admit he needed help, and way too pissed off to stay dead.
So yes, canonically dead in the show.
For this account?
Death fumbled the bag.

My name is Ella! I was told I should open up more and I was informed of Reddit, where I found this lovely community who loves Adam just as much as I do! <3 feel free to ask any questions you may have about him, or Heaven, or anything! If you have no questions for me, then please just have a blessed day 💛🕊
Me personally, I will make him tall about 13 feet having tan or brown skin and give him curly hair,And give him the leadership and mindset of Cecil from invincible saying that not everyone can be redeem and victims should not see there abusers in heaven and saying sorry won’t work or make things better and give him the philosophy of Pucci by seeing sinners as a virus that needs to be erased for good and have him love and care for Eve despite her being gone for 10,000 years he does miss her dearly and have him love his sons despite Cain killing Abel and have care for Abel but being overprotective and thinking he should not take part in exterminations because he dose not want to lose him again, And he has reasons why he hates Lucifer and Lilith and he despises Charlie’s idea of redemption but sees her being a pawn in Lucifer’s game of lies
Im losing it 🥺😭❤️ this is too damn CUTE
