I'm mostly excited to see the new illustration of the girls here especially Homare!!! I love that Yurasen started to improve the way he draws the girls and he even put them in pretty dresses they're all so gorgeoussss omggg
I started watching this anime and dropped it a while back despite enjoying most of what I watched (the first Kuina/Rokuro fight scene turned me off of the anime for a while.) Was thinking about picking it back up again because I don't know what to watch.
I have a few questions regarding the anime and manga.
Do you feel like the anime is worth watching? Was the conclusion decent?
Is the manga better or worse? If so is it consistent?
How is the supporting cast? Do they get their time to shine?
How are the female characters treated in the anime/manga? Are they treated with the same respect as their male counterparts? Do they have important roles in the story? Are they just as competent?
Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

they don't look at Oni and see something human they only see a monster.
Makes you wonder if the humans in this series are worth saving.

Well... I'm not even sure what to think of this save for Shiki getting a much needed reality check along the lines of 'you're strong but there is always someone (something?) stronger'.
"Momotaro" translates to Peach Boy and is the name of Japanese hero who was born from a peach and went on a journey with his animal companions, a dog, monkey, and peasant to defeat the Oni who were raiding villages etc. While the present day, Momotaro don't have any modern day connections to peaches outside of him being their ancestors and that is even pushing it. Because if the mythical character ,Momotaro, is really their ancestor, it brings a lot into question. Like how did the myth of the Momotaro spread if (potentially) he doesn't have any connections to peaches? Depending on which version they go with, did the peach give their ancestor his powers? How could the animals talk? Do other supernatural creatures or yokai exist in this world? If he really is their ancestor, then how did the Momotaro ability spread? From what I remember, they don't mention that he slept around like they did with the One's ancestor?
Note: When I say depending on the version, it is because there are older Edo period versions were it says that the old couple who care for Momotaro ate a peach and it made them younger allowing for them to have a child.
Also, the animals aren't random they each mean something: the dog symbolizes loyalty, the monkey means cleverness, and the peasant symbolizes self-sacrificing courage

After the last couple chapters with Blue flames and shiki literally swimming in lava I'm certain when the children of kishin introduced Evryone said The Light and dark was the strongest But now After old man inzou said ( YOURE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE THE WORLD) I'm Sure he can take it to manipulating Magma and Sun
( excluding Shiki and Mudano because Mudano already fight both of these two times now and Shiki seems like it would fun but a fast fight)
When an oni goes Berserk, in their sort of mental realm there seems to be some kind of voice that wants to swallow them whole.
