It’s Saturday morning in the year 1980! What are you watching?

You can click on it to see the full morning schedule. This is from New England, so your local schedule might’ve been different. I’m pretty sure mine had the George Reeves Superman.

He-Man Fan Project: Campaign Teaser for Saturday Morning Adventures Mod

Howdy folks, check out the He-Man fan project I've been working on:
https://youtu.be/L0Uz51KxwkE
This is a teaser for the first mission in the He-Man campaign of my Saturday Morning Adventures mod for Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich. This first mission follows He-Man and Battle Cat as they try to rescue their allies, who have been ambushed by Skeletor's forces! This adventure features He-Man, Battlecat, Ram-Man, Teela, Stratos, and Man-At-Arms, pitting the Masters against a trio of the Evil Warriors, Triklops, Trap Jaw, and Mer-Man, along with lots of Skeletor's minions! Future missions will feature much of the rest of the He-Man roster!

This mod is my love letter to classic 80s cartoons, and it features the characters and settings of my favorite shows. This project includes the Turtles and co., Transformers, G.I. JOE, Thundercats, Silverhawks, and, of course, He-Man, and perhaps more.

Please let me know what you think! I'd love some feedback on balance and design! (The art assets are by other members of the FF community, folks much more talented than me. I just put it all together and created the story.)

If you're interested, I'll put a full preview with commentary in the comments.

1985 Thundercats: Thunderian allies

These are the allies that I think they should have used more of in the cartoon.

I watched the latest episode to be released on Youtube and the episode 'Prehysterical Pet' has...major issues. Like tons of major issues. Left for the original airing, right for the HD ver. Which wasn't a problem for previous episodes but then it seems most of them are CROPPED!

The first 3 are from 'Prehysterical Pet' while the last 3 are from 'RoboCat' which is a perfectly good episode albeit cropped. There seems to be a problem from the looks of things.

For the FIRST TIME - Marty Almaraz of ThunderCats Live (Tygra & Buzz-Saw of the arena touring live show!) An ALL-NEW episode of the Beyond Thundera Podcast drops TONIGHT, July 2nd at 9PM EDT!

An ALL-NEW episode of the Beyond Thundera Podcast drops TONIGHT, July 2nd at 9PM EDT!

Long before convention appearances, nostalgia documentaries, and social media, ThunderCats was brought to life in arenas across America through ThunderCats Live, one of the most ambitious and least documented productions in franchise history.

In this episode, Marty Almaraz joins us for his first-ever interview to share what it was like portraying Tygra, Buzzsaw, and multiple other characters in the legendary touring show. Marty takes us behind the scenes of a production that featured elaborate costumes, aerial stunts from the world-famous Flying by Foy company, roller-skating performers, and even a sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden.

Marty also reflects on his remarkable journey beyond ThunderCats Live, from his early days as a performer to building a successful career as a professional chef, including time working at one of Chef Bobby Flay's restaurants in Las Vegas.

Watch & listen TONIGHT at 9PM EDT on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, & iHeartRadio.

Is there a name for this 1980s cartoon style?

I'm only referring to 1980s cartoons like Inspector Gadget (1983), Alvin and the Chipmunks (1983), Care Bears, the G1 My Little Pony cartoon, The Raccoons (1985), The Wuzzles (1985), DuckTales (1987), Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1985), Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers (1989), and Heathcliff (1980 and 1984 series).

(Edit: Do the 2D-animated commercials from the 1980s count?)
