I played through the whole game recently, and there's one or two times where he mentions having a brother, but when I look it up, the wikis say nothing about this. Was he just referencing his alter, or is this really an unnamed brother that nobody is talking about?
Hi all, I'm currently playing through The Lost Future, and I wanted to get people's opinion on which version of the next game I should play.
For the first three games I've done the EU version, as I heavily prefer the voice actors in said version; however, I heard that the NA/JP versions of Last Sceptre/ Sceptre's Call have a bit of extra content that was cut from the European release. So, in your opinion, is the bonus content worth playing? I don't hate the NA VA's or anything, they just sound a bit off to me.
Has anyone read the Layton novels? I've heard they're written quite differently than games. I loved all the games + film we have so I'm thinking about giving novels a shot

Hi everyone, so recently I bought a Nintendo DS and the guy who I bought it from gave me some games for free. One of them was Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I really loved it so I bought Pandora’s Box, Lost Future and the Last Spectre. Those are all the DS games so I wanted to get a 3DS so I could play Miracle Mask, Azran Legacy etc because they’re 3DS games (obvi). Aaanyway long story short I was really silly and bought the 2DS instead of the 3DS (it was an accident pls don’t bully me) and so NOW i need to know can I still play the Professor Layton 3DS games on this 2DS? If anyone has actually played the 3DS games on a 2DS pls let me know. Thank you!!

One of the most interesting things about the Katrielle era was the implication that Sherl wasn’t originally a talking dog. The game and anime kept teasing that there was something deeper going on and the possibility that he was somehow connected to the larger mystery surrounding Kat’s family. They even give him that specific dialogue about "a tower coming down," implying they knew what his backstory was and had it sketched out in advance. But then… nothing.
It’s weird because Layton games are usually so good at tying together their mysteries. We eventually found out what had happened to Hershel and Luke, but Sherl ended up feeling like an unfired Chekhov gun. Was there an intended explanation for Sherl that got cut, or was he always just meant to be a quirky mascot character?
And while I'm at it, what's with the post-credits scene of the game that says 'Kat will return'? Still waiting...
Was playing Azran Legacy and i see this monstrosity appear on my screen, are there other layton characters as ugly or even uglier than this?
I have been making 8-bit covers of the music from Curious Village for my building Professor Layton In Minecraft series. Have released the first one in full and plan to release the rest, hope you enjoy it!
It's quite the sight see a Professor Layton game that isn't exclusive to a Nintendo console. I think it can be a good thing because this let's more people be able to play through the newest entry when it releases.

Origjnal three after finishing the later three which i didnt have until now. And f me, pandoras box is harder than i thouht. Too much maths, and too many puzzles u have to do or ur stuck. Boo. Unwound is my fav, i cried

Some of you may have already seen it but over the past couple of years I have been working on recreating St Mystere in Minecraft with an accompanying mod for NPCs and fun details. Though I am not finished, I am not so far off!!
I'm very happy with how they turned out for now! Still waiting to get a more fitting newspaper boy hat for Luke and maybe I'll make a custom top for Layton so it's got the orange shirt
Otherwise Floras hair and dress is custom! Thankfully tomodachi allows a good amount of freedom in that :)
I am not really understanding why the solution is the one that is shown in there.
I understand that if you make both pieces together, it forms a rectangle, but in the puzzle description, it says: "Where should you cut the paper if you want to turn the paper in Diagram 1 into a rectangle without flipping either of your two pieces?" Yet it seems like at the end, you need to rotate one of the pieces so it locks with the other one, right? 😅
