Not sure if it was brought up before, if it was, disregard, if it wasn't - hear me out.

I know there are a lot of folks with OCD, who like to match the jewels. I know there are some opportunists out there hogging the facets specifically, charging fees for color swap. There are also, some people who would've liked to unify the jewel color in a socketed item at some point. And, there are those, who don't care.

I think it would be great to have an opportunity to change a color of a jewel(s) with a special item, just like re-rolling item stats with a Demonic Cube.

Here's the idea:

Spectral shard - combine with any jewel (blue, rare or uniq) or any item that has jewels already socketed to unify the color of the jewel(s) to your desire.

Cube recipes:

Spectral shard + P. Sapphire + socketed item/jewel = changes all jewel theme to blue

Spectral shard + P. Topaz + socketed item/jewel = changes all jewel theme to peach

Spectral shard + P. Diamond + socketed item/jewel = changes all jewel theme to white

Spectral shard + P. Ruby + socketed item/jewel = changes all jewel theme to red

Spectral shard + P. Emerald + socketed item/jewel = changes all jewel theme to green

Spectral shard is to be a very rare drop, similar to demonic cube, skeleton key, etc. Drop rates are not dependent on MF.

Hi! Rusty Diablo 2 player here!

It's been ages since I last played D2, and I never tried PD2 until now. I'm having the time of my life!

I started a javazon and breezed through the normal difficulty, but now I'm at late Act 1 nightmare and my damage output is good, but I'm very much struggling to stay alive. Am I missing something? Any tips?

I killed Dclone T2 with my Assa in S11 and now I want this shiny red aura again.

Here would be my setup for the fight and would like to know your opinion.

May aim is to do some dclone T1s (and one time T2 for shiny thingy) and maps as usual. Therefore I will just want to swap out some gear, but no respec.

Its by far not optimal, but thats what I found or bought for cheap:

Head: CoA, 3sox, 14% dr, 6% max life slam, with 3x JAH for 21% max life

Armor: Tyraels, 2sox, 6% max life slam, 2x ed/max dmg jewels

Belt: Verdungos 15% dr

Gloves: Gravepalm, 24% ds (slam)

Boots: Infernostride 4% dr (will be upgraded to WW with % dr slam when available)

Amulet: Nokoozan with 2% max res and ed slam, for 10% max fire res in total

Ring 1: Dwarf Star, 6% Fire Absorb, 3% dr slam

Ring 2: BK Death Band, 11% dr (slam) and perf ed

Mainhand: Eth Ghost Glaive 533ed, 234 - 638 dmg

Offhand: Eth Winged Harpoon, 551ed, 91 - 636 dmg or eth 2sox ed/ds slam Lacerator

Anni: 80 Vita slam

Weapon Switch: Block Shield and Demon Limp for enchant

Charms: Life and/or dmg charms

- 47% dr (rest via some points in iron skin passive)

- 15% max fire res

- 24% ds + 31% cs

- 86% Faster Hit Recovery

- Fastes ias BP without merc

- Life is unknown, I guess it will be enough

- AR should be around 20k

-> Do you stop at around 3k health or do you stack as much as you can, dumping all points in vita instead of str/dex?

-> Do you use grim ward, even as a 1 point wonder? (I need to dump at least 10 Points into Increased speed for ias BP)

Thx for all the advices, before I dump 3x JAH in this 0.5 helmet :D and waste a respec.

Hey guys,

Just got to hell and have been fortunate enough to have some generous people pass me skillers etc. Can I get feedback on my gear I want to head into maps or whatever path is meant for a CL sorc, never crafted before etc so want to start enjoying that side of PD2? What do i need to focus on getting or where should I farm?

I recently found out you could export chars to single player to try out stuff like bossing so I gave it a shot. Exported char to single player and then I logged in, BUT I didn't realise I went online by habbit of opening the game.

So I went off killing mini-ubers and then opened up uber trist. Killed meph in 5sec, then Baal and Diablo were after me but my Sin was pretty tanky so she could handle both. Baal died and very little life remained on Diablo so I stepped away for a sec to escape game and try it online without too much care. Diablo's lighning smacked me while I was slowly escaping - and I didn't care much because I though I was in SP until I died...

That is when I thought : ''Was that SP or did I just log in as usual?'' The later was true and I find myself grinding with another char now.

All hopes of reaching 99 with a char are gone for the season, but it was yet another lesson learned in this game - Make sure you really are in SP if you want to mess around with some bosses y'all !
