It just occurred to me that this could be a useful QoL feature, so I wanted to post it and get the communities' feedback here - this is what I am proposing:

A hotkey to press that will drop the last item you (presumably accidentally) picked up, that will not require you to stop moving and open your inventory to drop it.

This would not be toggled on by default and would require you to bind it yourself in order to help prevent accidents from people who didn't mean to use the feature.

Also possibly this could be repeatedly pressed in order to drop the item BEFORE the last item you picked up, after you already dropped the last one.

I know some people will be uncomfortable with this. Go ahead and shoot me down if you are against it, I just wondered if other people thought this might be a good idea as well. Thx.

Hi. I grew up on this stuff, loved 2.4.3, WOTLK, used to go to sites like xtremetop100 to vote to get rewards on fun servers, etc. Played Nost, a little TurtleWoW, was hyped for Unreal 5 graphics that never came.

I want to play a server which has some modern changes. It cannot be vanilla classic, or something like that. What is out there that is exciting, worth trying, has progression, and has an actually alive community and a real AH. Does such a thing exist? Thanks.

Is there a gamebreaking reason that stash space should NOT be unlimited? I was just thinking about it, I feel like we need more space. Yay / nay?

How many people are playing hardcore? I only see a couple of lobbies on normal mode. It seems way more gratifying to play HC, imo. Is the economy there? I just hit Act 4 and the realization that I haven't died a single time yet is a rewarding thought. I don't open portals before entering areas I'm unsure of, because I know if I die I'm not coming back.. you have to approach things differently. I'm building resistances and working on gear before moving too far ahead. It seems like the way the game was meant to be played TBH. Pretty cool.

Hello. Making this post to ask for some advice. I am determined to "beat the game," because it was a part of my childhood I never got to finish.

I've had no trouble with Uber Tristram, but the Diablo clone I have only managed to get to half health after several tries. The first ones were rough and I adapted as much as I could but now I have hit a wall. I feel like there might be some kind of glitch related to his hitbox and that sometimes I'm too far away or angled improperly to hit him.

What do you guys recommend I do to make myself stronger? I have at least 29% overstacked resistance to everything.

This man does not want to drop a key. What can I do? I have killed him, must be somewhere in the range of 12-20 times now. I have the other 2 keys, but he's being very stingy.. he keeps rubbing his palms together.

It seems like most of these are kind of junk? I never can seem to craft any cool runewords that I look up. I have what seems like over half of the total runes on the list, and for some reason I seem to find them in order from left to right on the list? I'm in hell now trying to get some new gear for my paladin because 700 defense wasn't cutting it - though the set had +3 paladin skills on it. Thx.

Question: I have holy shock maxed and blessed aim and lightning resist for synergies. Is this a good build? What should I spend points in now? I have 1 in zeal I believe for the multi-hits on mobs. I seem to just smash everything but my magic resistances are low so sometimes I get blasted by magic packs. I am in Nightmare about level 60, just killed Diablo. Not sure what to do with all of my gems and runes tbh.. also don't understand why I could use the blacksmith hammer with a green set item to add a socket, but couldn't use it on my yellow (rare) item.

I feel like eventually I need to spec into another skill once I max the holy shock peripherals but not sure what. I would like a spell to use as I never run out of mana and it seems like a wasted potential there.
