How many of yall ride mullet tyee? How is it?
I’m a little worried about the bottom bracket being lower, since I ride it on 29 right now and I lost a toenail by hitting my foot on the ground while riding.

I bought a propain tyee 6.1 frame recently without a shock. I just bought a 210x55mm standard standard vivid air shock from rockshox. Now I’m reading though that I need a special after market model to fit the pro 10 suspension. I was told the shock I bought won’t work because the air chamber will interfere with the linkage.
Could someone please help me on this? If so I don’t even know what shock to buy.
Does anyone have experience ordering a frame only or bike from propain to the us? How long did it take to ship to America? Specifically the northeast
Does anyone know what tune Propain does for their shocks on the tyee? How important is it to have that tune? Will you be ok with rockshox general tune? Specifically the vivid air ultimate if anyone knows. For reference what came on the vivid is r55c34x45
2 years on, many fun and dumb adventures. Still love this bike!
Hey, I want to get a bike to hit parks like leogang or whistler and also be able to whip the frick out of the bike. For what should I go?
Greetings from germamy :D
Long story short - I currently have a canyon spectral which I really enjoy. However - I’ve broken two frames within a years time in the same exact spot and will likely be looking to move on from canyon once I get a warranty replacement.
TYEE is high on my list.
What is everyone’s experience with aluminum frame durability and US customer service? Anything you feel the Tyee lacks? Anything it excels at? Coil vs air feel (I’d be going dhx2 or float x2)
Really just looking for honest owner opinions on the Tyee AL.
FWIW I live in Asheville NC - consider myself an “advanced” rider (feels pretty cringe saying that) and typically ride rocky, rooty, fast & steep singletrack with a little jumping sprinkled in, but it’s definitely not my favorite part of mountain bikes.
Recently found a crack in the downtube of my Spindrift 5CF, anyone with a similar experience? It seems there are no signs of impact
My new Propain
Well worth the wait !
Had it for a couple months now, but took it to Moab and it handled like a champ. Love this beautiful bike.
I’m about to purchase a tyee 6.1 CF. I’m torn between sizes though. I’m 6’1 and 3 quarters. I like a mostly playful bike on jump trails that can also handle racing. I’m currently on a specialized enduro s3 that feels a bit small. I want the large but am still growing and am worried that if I hit 6’3-6’4 the large will be unrideable.
Does anyone have experience with either or both sizes that could give any input into what size would be best for me assuming I might grow to be 6’4?
