Real mileage within 40-80kmph.

I want to buy N250 but due to mix Review of mileage

i am confused between N250 and N160. However my First choice is N250.

I commute daily 60-70 kms. On highway and low to moderate traffic.

I never ride in Triple digits (very very rarely)

Even I don't ride above 90 only sometimes.

I ride 50% time with pillion

I tour twice in 6 months. Mostly I need a bike which don't feel stressed have backup power.

Relaxed at my speed which is 40-80kmph

Low maintenance and yes mileage. I don't want 50-51 kmpl but atleast I need 45 kmpl regularly.

My confusion is if I buy N160 I think I will regret that may be I should have bought N250 and if I buy N250 and it gives low mileage than I will regret that I should have bought n160

.

Iam Okay at 42-45 kmpl regularly.

Please advise me and clear my confusion.

Thanks a lot for reading such long message.

N250 vibrations

Have got my bike a year before and learned bike two months later of purchase and so I got my first experience after the purchase before that my father used to ride it.....when I very first got it, I was excited and didn't notice any other things about bike but when I started serious highway rides at speeds of 80-90 i feel unwanted vibrations and engine stressed a lot like a n250 bike with a 150cc engine in it.....i noticed more and found out there's more vibrations even at normal speeds i thought i fucked my decision.

Later found out my id friend have the same bike...test rided and just fuck i just hyperly revved the engine something like 70kmph at 2nd gear and bike didn't had a vibration shit ever just exhaust sound.....I was like is this the original bike??

Lmk if you have same issue or any fix for it(i consulted many mechanics and service centers they did notice vibrations some said 'itna toh chalta hai' and others said there's no vibrations)

Finished my 600kms trip

Finished my almost 600 km trip of which 500 kms was highway, with a mileage of about 51kmpl.

  1. My average speed was usually about 70-75kmph. Didn't feel any vibration or anything. My mileage is usually very close to what shows on the meter, so i think here it would be at least 48-49kmpl

  2. While going, the first 250 kms, i did it on my stock seat. It wasn't that uncomfortable, sure my avenger was much comfortable but this wasn't bad either.

  3. While returning i used the seat cushion and it was a little comfortable as during some small bumps it absorbed the shock, also the honeycomb helps with air circulation. If anybody wants to purchase it, i got it from amazon, its grandbiker universal fit gel air seat cushion.

Been a month since I bought this beautiful machine!

It's been a little more than a month since I bought the Bajaj Pulsar N250 (Brooklyn black). I must say it's a very underrated motorcycle.

I take it 3 times a week to my work place. I'm also planning for occasional rides with friends, since the first service is complete. It brings a smile every time I open the throttle. Absolutely refined engine, good suspension, plush ride quality and does it's job perfectly well. I'm getting 35 KMPL in the city and 40 on the highways. Genuinely pleased that Bajaj has delivered a very good product.

Not chain maintainance, it's therapy.

Its really therapeutic to wash, clean and lube. Then hearing the smooth sound of chain while rotating the wheel in reverse.

Bought this tool and opened front sprocket cover first time, some different sound is coming from here like 'kat kat' while rotating wheel in forward only. Not loud enough to hear while riding but enough sound to listen while moving bike with engine off.

Gonna clean and lube it so may be it will solve by itself, will update.

Cleaned and lube it, sound stopped as mentioned in previous post. As it was due to dry chain, may be that sound is the indication of lube the chain.

Have I been robbed?

Hi, this is my paid service invoice for 24k kms previous service was done at 21k kms, Seriously thinking to go with local service centre next time.

Because of AMC card there is a discount of service charges they said.

Pulsar N250 owners — how has your experience been?

Planning to buy an N250 mainly for city usage.

Would love honest owner feedback regarding:

wobbling

stalling

vibrations

reliability

Please mention kms ridden too if possible.

Planning to buy Bajaj Pulsar N250

Pune.

I am planning to buy the Bajaj Pulsar N250. This would be my first bike although I have ridden a lot of commuters and mid-range bikes which I don't own. My requirements are mostly city rides with occasional highway rides around 500-600kms. But I've encountered several issues with previous N250 models like Cold Start Issues, Missing 6th gear, etc. Is this a good choice in this budget range? Also, what are the options to buy this through No Cost EMI?

Thanks!

10W40 Engine oil instead of 20W50 in Pulsar N160.

So I had bought my pulsar N160 about 6 months ago and did first service after One month. Lately I used to experience noise and vibration at high speeds. I recently read a post about wrong engine oil filled during service and so checked my invoice of first service. The service centre filled 10W40 oil and I read in the user manual that 20W50 oil is recommended. So is the vibration due to that or am I just being paranoid. Also my odometer reading 3000 kms and my service is due in 4500 kms. So should I replace the engine oil ASAP or shall use it till next service. (I live in Jammu for Temperature reference.)

N250 odo shows 53kmpl on highways👀. Speed was around 50-60kmph.

I know it's not accurate but the vehicle can easily return 45kmpl-ish fuel economy on highways if ridden gently.

Wish Bajaj made an N250 "Multiverse" already!

Like R15 and MT 15 have XSR 155 and FZS have FZX, in similar fashion bajaj should make neo retro versions of n250,

And in a similar fashion of Gixxer and vstorm if bajaj launches a capable adventure tourer while under cutting vstorm, like maybe 1.8L inroad, it would be so good (I know dominar 250 is there but I am asking something different)

Suggestion needed

I am planning to do 140kms round trip this weekend, but the thing is bike has clocked 400kms till date and 1st service is due on 19may so cruising at 80-100 before 1st service will that be ok.

Ps: the bike hasnt gone above 60kmph till date
