Pulsar N250 5th Service
Bajaj service is a pure scam.
Yesterday, I went for the 5th service of my bike at a Bajaj service centre in Wakad, Pune.
I specifically told them to check and adjust the tappet/valve clearance. When I checked the bike at home, I noticed that they hadn't even opened the engine head—the dust and dirt were still exactly as they were. The engine noise was also still there. It honestly feels like they were lying straight to my face about the work they had done.
They charged ₹400+ for swing-arm greasing and ₹500+ for steering/cone-set greasing.
The N250 has 2 spark plugs, but they charged me for 3 spark plugs on the bill.
I'm also not sure whether they actually cleaned the throttle body or not.
I paid around ₹3,600 for the service, and I'm genuinely not satisfied with the work.
Guys, please check your bills carefully and, if possible, consider a reputable independent service centre instead of blindly relying on the authorised service centre. You can also choose a good engine oil like Motul, according to your bike's manual and requirements.
Seriously, I don't think I'll ever take my bike back to this service centre again.
