Has anyone received emails ?

Hi guys. I can't register my classes and this pops up in the registration status in my banner:

Admission Hold
Reason: NQCA - FA26
From Date: 08/18/2026
To Date: 12/31/2099
Processes Affected: Registration 

I also haven't received any email about who my academic advisor is, and there isn't one listed in myBanner profile either.

Pls help me idk what to do.

Is there anywhere in Qatar where you can request for a Laptop Loan ( decent Laptop ) capable of running engineering programs like MATLAB ASPEN HYSYS AUTOCAD. I know QU used to provide these services in the past but it looks like they have discontinued. Is it possible to look elsewhere or ask a different agency as I am in urgent need of one. My laptops been running for the last 7 years and it cant keep up anymore, always crashes when I open complex software.

If anyone knows anything abt where to ask please let me know.

I’m a Bangladeshi currently living in Qatar, and I’m planning to continue my studies at Qatar University. I’m a little confused about the admission process and what I need to do to become eligible, so I thought I’d ask here.

I have completed my HSC in Bangladesh, and I’m also currently studying BBA in Accounting. I’m interested in continuing my education at Qatar University, but I’m not sure whether I can apply based on my current academic background.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could explain a few things:

• Can a Bangladeshi/Qatar resident apply to Qatar University?
• What are the admission requirements?
• What documents would I need?
• Do I need IELTS or another English test?
• Is there any difference between applying as an international student and as a Qatar resident?
• Are scholarships or financial assistance available?
• What is the best way to prepare before applying?

If anyone here has gone through the Qatar University admission process, I’d really appreciate your advice or personal experience.

Did anyone get their decision at all(outstanding performance) ?? It been saying pending on the website till now even though the working hours for scholarship department are till 2:30..

I wrote accuplacer esl instead of ielts for the fall semester but didn’t get accepted ( had cleared accuplacer) so for the next intake, should I write accuplacer or ielts. Does Qatar university prefer ielts or accuplacer or both the same?? Im only looking into Qatar university, so I thought accuplacer was the better option.

I can’t seem to register for my classes in the college of medicine because of a provisional hold on my student account. I’ve already submitted the provisional pledge around 2 weeks ago and it still shows as pending. Is there a real risk of me not being able to register for courses as they become full this semester? I’m really worried and I haven’t gotten any response from the uni on what’s happening. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can fellow mates please change their schedule for History 121 (English) class from S T T 3:30 pm to other classes?

The one which has seat is conflicting with other course class that has one fixed date and time or else, I would have changed...

i got 790 in sat math and 5 in ap bio chem and calcus ab and i get 98% in my report card which is equivalent to 4.0 gpa are those enough and if not what do i need to do and what do u guys suggest

Want to transfer to medicine so repeating SAT. Can anyone give any tips on how to get 790-800 math ? Any specific things you did , any vids, links? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

What am I meant to submit for my results? Do I need my final transcript or my statement of results from edexcel? And do I submit it online or physically? Pls lmk.

Has anyone had this concern with Qatar University, those who are given conditional admission nomination? Tried to submit to student affairs building the statement of a level results but they want the final certificates by september but they come a few months later? Thank you

I just got out from talking to the advisor and he told me that it would take me 3 years to graduate if I got back to uni

If I took 5 classes each semesters and got one class on summer

It will take me two years and half if I took 2 classes in summer

My question

What if I took 5 classes in normal semesters and 3 classes in summer will it be 2 years?

And what if I took 6 classes in a semester and 3 classes summer will it be less?

I’m in business and finance major. I have been in uni in 2023 but end up failing with low gpa and got kicked in late 2025. I will do a reinstatement and get back in uni in 2027. I always picked 2/3 classes but now I want to graduate quicker mostly 2 years.

Last thing I unlocked was a management classes and algebra classes
