some info about doxycycline

it is not a medication with permanent results
ngl i was the happiest while i was on it, but the moment i stopped it everything became bad
its effect stops a week after u stop taking it
and ur acne comes back stronger when u do (good thing i was able to control mine with some creams)
my personal advice to u, please dont take it unless u really need ur acne gone for a specific event and u dont mind it coming back later on ❤️

acne rosacea!

sorry for the bad pics!! (looks and feels worse irl)
is this a damaged skin barrier or simply acne rosacea?!?!!?
i was on doxy + azelaic acid 20% for a month, skin was perfectly clear.
after stopping it, my skin became worse
i continued using azelaic acid every night for 2 more weeks, but im guessing its damaging my skin barrier more than fixing it
so today is my second day not using it, should i stop or continue and use it another way?
used to apply it on dry skin right after washing my face every day at night
current skin care routine is cerave foaming face wash am/pm, sunscreen la roche posay (recently started) am, bepanthen moisturiser am/pm, a salicylic acid serum am
but skin texture feels weird now and my pores are enlarged
im planning on purchasing differin, panoxyl 4%, soolantra (ivermectin) or 345 relief cream, pls give me ur opinions on these products.

i did go back to my derm like 3 days ago, he said that doxy has a temporary effect and stopping it will js cause my face to go back to how it was, so theres no point of continuing with it
and he also did not prescribe me or tell me to do anything new, just told me to continue using the azelaic acid
and he did say that i have acne rosacea

damaged skin barrier..?

help me fix my skin texture, details of my routine and what i did is down!!

it looks worse irl
i went on doxy for a month, but ever since my derm told me to stop it, the acne has been coming back, and my skin has a weird texture, not how it used to look like while i was on doxy. i know that its a temporary solution, which is why i dont wanna start taking it again.
along with the doxy, i was using azelaic acid 20% (skinoren) every day at night, still am till this day, but now ive been using it every other day hoping my skin texture would become better, and idk if i have clogged pores or not.
i use the cerave foaming facial cleanser twice a day, bepanthen moisturizer morning and night, a serum that has salicylic acid (which i stopped using to see if anything changes) and i started recently applying sunscreen every day (la roche posay)
i really loved how my skin looked like while on doxy, i wish it was permenant, and i hate how my skin looks like now
also if anyone has tried these products please tell me more about your experience
dr althea 345 relief cream
differin (adapalene 0.1%)
panoxyl foaming wash 4%
suggest me more products for smoothing my skin pls and any tips, im desperate.
