*HELP* so I accidentally wiped the SD card on my rg35xxsp

I reformatted the disk accidentally and I think I deleted everything how can I fix this? And will I brick my device if I put the SD card back?

Hyped for my first device

In a few hours it'll be here. I'm so hyped and I can't wait for it, I've been waiting since I found a rg35xxsp on AliExpress at 42€, it's been a week. Have you got any suggestions about games or what to do immediately after it'll be here?

Music Sampler/Sequencer Apps for RG35XXSP

Hey folks. I was wanting a music-creation tool inspired by things like the HiChord device and grooveboxes, so I created four apps compatible with my RG35XXSP to help me make music away from my phone or other DAWs. HillChord is basically a HiChord clone, HillBeat is a drum machine, HillSequencer is an 8-track sequencer, and HillBand is a combination drum-machine and chord sequencer.

Note that I am not really a coder, these are *heavily* vibe-coded, and I don't want to spread any misconceptions with that. I wanted some music-creation tools for myself I could run on my handheld, and now that they are at a place I'm happy with I thought other people might be interested in them as well. All code and materials are completely open for public use, copying, modifying, forking, etc. I just want interesting creative tools in the world.

New to handhelds and had a question.

I’m new to handhelds and my son gave me an RG35XXSP and it was already set up. Something happened and it wouldn’t boot so I had to transfer everything to my ancient laptop, reinstall Knulli and transfer everything back. All in all took about 15-20 hours. The 256gb I just reinstalled everything on is full to the brim so I want to add a smaller card to put games on too. Is there a way to get both cards to work in tandem so I don’t have to switch back and forth?? I’m pretty tech savvy, but have no clue about this stuff. Is there a different OS that would let them work in tandem or is it a hardware thing??

Advice for someone completely new to emulation

I just got my first ever emulation device (RG35XXSP) and really want to maximize its potential. I'd love to hear recommendations and advice from people who know what they're talking about regarding the following

  • OSs (I already installed the upgraded version)
  • Rom sites
  • Rom games and where to download
  • Hidden features/ settings
  • Useful or just cool apps
  • Interesting mods
  • Uses that aren't gaming
  • Favorite games
  • Favorite consoles
  • How customize as much as possible (including exterior stuff)
  • Anything you think is interesting and want to share

I should also note that this is my second post here because I'm currently having an issue changing my boot up logo, post linked here

Stock os

Hi, quick question. I picked up 35sp nee locally from Facebook marketplace. Not sure if it's the updated or og model. I've been using it for a few days using the retroark that's already on the system. Is it important that I update the os, or does it really make? Also should I switch to a different SD card? Thanks all

Looking for an OS with proper clamshell sleep + good customization?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to make my RG35XXSP my daily carry, but I’m struggling to find the right OS for me.

My absolute dealbreaker is clamshell sleep behavior. I want to just close the lid to sleep and open it to instantly resume. I love MuOS, but its lack of a traditional sleep mode (due to the real time clock limitation) drives me up the wall, so I can't use it.

I went back to the stock OS and the lid sleep works perfectly, but the software looks and feels a bit janky. It’s not the biggest deal, but I love to tinker and customize my device's look and feel, which stock doesn't really offer.

To the folks who prioritize the sleep function but still want a clean, customizable OS, what are you running and what’s your setup?

Any recommendations are appreciated!

MUOS not detecting GBA ROMS

Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some advice here about the situation I'm currently in. I've already formatted my 2nd SD card to EXFAT and renamed the roms folder to all caps but it MUOS still doesn't detect the game files
