I was given the email address for the legal team at Rad Power Bikes and told to write them about having one of the unsafe batteries. Has anyone else emailed them and had any kind of resolution? I emailed them about 10 days ago and haven’t heard anything. Is there any recourse now with the new company that took over?

I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with upgrading the controller for the radrunner Max. I live in a pretty hilly area and I use this bike to take my little guy to school in the warmer months and so I just was looking for a little extra power and help on the big Hills. I did purchase one from a company that said it would work but then when we got it the plugs didn't match up. When we reached out to said company, they responded saying that we had to cut the connectors off and splice the wires together which we didn't want to do. So wondering if anybody has any leads or experience with this. Thanks
I’ve found a good deal on a Rad Rover 6 with a battery that isn’t charging; I suspect it’s a fuse issue. What’s the proper replacement fuse, and is there an easy way to tell upon inspection if the fuse is indeed the issue?
We bought this bike back in San Diego (2022) when gas prices were high. It was used to commute to work at a Navy base. We have moved to the east coast since then and we don't really trust residential drivers enough to safely ride around here.
I wanted to sell it, but I have no idea how to price it. It is a RadCity ST 3 and I have an email receipt. It has been stored in the garage for a while. Battery was able to charge fully and test ride seemed fine. No clicking, no brake issues, chain seemed/looked fine. According to the odometer, it has 366 miles on it. Cog wheels have a little bit of rust on them. Is there anything else I should look into?

I am extremely new to the electric bike world. My mom has had these two bikes for a few years now and almost never uses them and is thinking about selling/giving them to us. My fiance and I would love to have them but we have a few questions we are hoping you can answer.
So first I know this company went bankrupt but is making a comeback it looks like. Will it be an issue getting parts or servicing these bikes?
I know there was a recall on some of the batteries and sadly the serial number on one of the bike batteries matches so we will have to replace that I assume. How much would that cost and do I have to get that directly from Rad?
My mom does not know how to price them and asked me what I think. I also dont know how much to offer so what would be a fair price for these bikes? I guess she said she has "all the accessories" like saddle bags and what not.
Overall should I get these and any extra info would be super helpful. Thank you!
I had purchased this bike almost ten years ago and due to me moving and negligence from my old roommate, the bike is in dire need of repair. The main issues comes from the battery not being able to hold a full charge and tire issues. The bike was exposed to the Arizona heat and elements, it has a rusted chain. I was wondering if the repairs itself would make it worth the repair or just switching to a new bike, such as the Aventure 3.
I’m pretty sure it’s the RadWagon 4.
I’ve Tried all the typical sensor adjustments, disconnected and reconnected all connections, attached and removed throttle connection, tried with lights, no lights, adjusted brakes both into and out of an E25 code, & adjusted PAS spacing to magnet. PAS doesn’t engage motor either.
Rad has told me 3x now it’s the motor. It gets watts via throttle and walk mode but the wheel only sputters and gets no real traction. Shows resistance under roll back testing under power.
Have I really exhausted all my options?
Is it time to figure out how to get a
New motor that’s not in stock for a free bike?
I feel this can still be fixed somehow…
Friends, do I need to buy another screen? It got wet, worked for a month, then stopped working on a morning after a several mile ride.
I’ve checked the connections, done with key trick, put it in rice, and removed and put the battery back in.
What do you all think?
Still trying to find a more comfortable seat solution. I'm not used to sitting this upright and pedaling. Really like the utility. I've already used it to run several errands this weekend. I might only put gas in my car once or twice this summer.
I got a RR and RR2 with the bike rack for $600. The RR1 is just over 3 years old and the RR2 was purchase 2 years ago. RR2 has a locked up rear wheel. The brake is not seized and the freewheel rotates freely while back pedaling. Must be a motor issue.
Purchased 2 Rads last summer and read yesterday about battery issues and fires batteries are apparently causing.
Should I check if our 2 batteries are vulnerable and how?

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement for my battery? I am in the netherlands and radwagon left Europe a while ago. Im not even 100% sure WHAT type of battery can replace it.
The battery is fully charged, I’ve owned it for months and enjoyed using it. Suddenly the power is not turning on. I’ve blown out the wired connections, removed the battery, drained the power, and succeeded in turning it on once but now it’s giving me trouble again.
Am I a goner?
Where can I get a replacement controller for a radwagon 4 in Europe?
We only have 1 car so our Radwagon and GSD are our main method of transportation. We have 3 little kids that fit in the Radwagon. We have owned this bike for 3 years bike and I’m hoping it will last many more.
I purchased a new Safe Shield battery in December (for my RadCity 4) to replace the non-recalled battery. Also purchased a new charger for it. A couple of months later the battery quit working (showed full, fuses ok). Local Rad store gave me a new one under warranty and found that the display was also bad, ordered and paid for a replacement. Headlight and tail light had also quit but decided to delay getting a new controller as I don't ride at night and I run flashing tail light when I ride. Brake light also still worked.
Fast forward to today and the same thing happened again. Was riding down hill at the start of my ride with a full battery, braking with display showing 300+ watts (Sales staff says no regenerative braking, so what's the watts displayed?), got to the bottom of the hill (maybe 0.1 mile) and - nothing. Shows full, fuses ok. Rad store says battery is toast again, hasn't tested the display yet (service backed up).
They will probably offer a refund for the battery (display? charger?) leaving me high and dry. They do not troubleshoot the batteries, just recycle.
Has anyone seen a Safe Shield battery failure? Can they not tolerate (regenerative) braking?
Anyone in canada trying to buy front racks and seeing this madness?
I am open to suggestions on other front racks that work with the RadRunner Plus bike.

Someone stole the whole seat post assembly from my Rad Power Wagon 4 and I can’t immediately find a replacement for the whole thing.
