Hi there, I have a radrunner 1 with an egg rider, otherwise stock.

My controller is messing up …bike motor continues to provide power without turning the pedals and no throttle (even when throttle cable undone)

I plugged the bike into my partners controller aka just unplugged at the controller and the motor behaves fine. I also checked the display and it’s fine, so I assume it’s the controller

Area 13 seems to be out of stock for the older radrunner controllers…

Anybody ordered from surge bikes ? While a 35amph controller would be nice, I like the eggrider display so if I can find the same 25 amps controller as the original/oem would be fine as well, I don’t really need more power

Howdy, we took a lesson on a fliteboard 2025 (basically the icon)…loved it and managed to fly a wee bit standing but not going to lie standing up was hard. Once standing it was fine, but the mobility to get up well I felt me age (mid 50’s and just off a knee replacement on my leading leg)

We want to buy a board and well, everyone seems to immediately jump to the pro ….i think long term faster turns and fun carving is the goal, but is the performance difference really worth the fact that it is likely harder to learn.

Our dealer noted that when flying the wings make much more of a difference then the board size..an yes there is more in out needed to carve the bigger board, he noted that switching to more reactive wings has a more drastic impact.

So his advice was , if you want to enjoy the learning curve buy the icon …and then upgrade the wing parts once you want to add more spice. I guess we could also upgrade the board down the road. I was debating if we boy the pro , we could continue to take a few more lessons on the icon..or we buy the icon which I am pretty certain we can grow in without lessons and if it comes to it upgrade the just the board in a year or two …after we have outgrown the wing progression the dealer pointed out.

We are new to foiling - but the physics make since ..aka that the wings would have a bigger impact then the size of the board once up in the board ….but would love to hear from the community if this is correct and if the proposed fun progression of icon with cruiser wing to upgrade the wing and finally if we ever get there upgrade the board itself to a pro makes sense.

A bit about us….1 rider 180 pounds 5f11, other rider 155 pounds 5f7….. both mid 50’s and athletic. we do live next to a few lakes with easy access and this will be our hot summer day fun instead of paddleboarding 🤣….but our main sports still going to be mountain biking and dirt biking ..and we won’t ride in the winter at all as we live in a ski resort and generally snowboard 100 days a season.

For transport canada for an efoil to be legal it needs to have a jet propulsion and a magnetic kill switch or something like the fliteboard automatic kill when remote hits the water is acceptable

Hi , we are planning to take a lesson shortly and pretty sure we will be an efoil soon.

Our lesson will be on a fliteboard but I am also considering the Waydoo boards as they are definitely a better price point especially as we learn- I expect we will buy one board to share this year and may be a second high performance board next year. But I still would like to have this years purchase be fun for a few years.

I was comparing the Waydoo evo lite vs pro - since for the light you can upgrade the motor and the battery , it seems the only true difference is the board itself which is significantly heavier I assume due to all the extra sensors and technology… do these all actually aid in performance or are they simply gimmicks that you don’t use much once you get a few days in the foil ?

We are both athletic ( albeit in our 50’s ) under 80kg ( 140 pounds and 170 pounds) , snowboard about 100 days a season and have been getting more into water sports … I have done some surfing and windsurfing and we also have a winch we put around with .

We both really would live to get into carving and fun riding - I don’t expect us to just out around to explore or go high speed… at our home lake there is a few boats around but not too many …but would love to learn how to foil Surf a board too … but that’s probably down the road ;)

Basically looking for a board that’s not true beginner but still is not too advanced that learning will be impossible and that will still be fun even after you progressed past the beginner stage . I am wondering if the Waydoo lite with the performance upgrades could be that board

Longtime I would assume if we figure out the carving fun times the second board would likely be a fliteboard pro or an L3 but definitely would demo before getting in that deep ( I don’t know which boards they will use for the lesson next week- it’s a fliteboard school)

I assume this is not just a problem for us, but we have two catios, both have cat doors for the cats to come back in…problem is that both catios seem to be part of some mouse highway and well the cats catch them and bring them into the house alive. I can deal with a Lise here and there, but we had now 3 nightly /crack of dawn human mouse hunts (assisted by two eager cats) in a row and the other day the idols cornered a chipmunk in their catio….i really don’t think I could manage if they bring that in next.

I read about those anti prey cat doors…do they actually work…I mean the other day my idiot cat had a mouse in her mouth and I could only tell because a bit of tail was sticking out…. Made her drop it and yep mouse was totally fine and ran off …sigh

Hi there, been lost in the endless world of aftermarket grill accessories

Could someone recommend a BBQ table/stand for the solo steel fire 22 inch. With its 22.4 inch depths I would like a 23-24 inch deep table top but can’t seem to find any that exceed 20 inch.

Also would be nice if it was 40-50 inches wide so I could also add my ooni pizza oven to the same table (which also needs a 22 inch minimum depth) ..so it be nice to have them side by side

Could someone please recommend a 1pund to 20 pound conversion kit that works for the solo steel fire 22 griddle . I just ordered mine yesterday and solo doesn’t sell a conversion and want to attach it to a 20 pound. The solo product page is not helpful at all by stating “ compatible with appropriate conversion kit” but not actually detailing exactly what the connection and possible restrictions are …and in their manual it states “ use solo approved connector otherwise warranty void….but they don’t actually list any approved conversion option.

Our cats get the nextgard combo. They have a catio , which yep has mice passing through and they have caught some but never eat’en one. I also walk them in the backyard, but they are never exposed to other pets.

They are fully vaccinated and they gotten the NexGard Combo last month. I checked with my vet and they said that the time between application depends on lifestyle and how much they are outside and it could be safely given 1 a month or spaced out to up to 3month.

I wanted to check for those of you using this product to protect your harness lion , do you always go with 1 month or longer periods between application
