[Contest] if the sun refused to shine

I would still be loving you

Monday was my dads birthday. In honor of him I'd like to host a contest.

My dad was a very giving man and I inherited that from him.

Tell me your favorite led zeppelin or pink floyd song. If you don't have either then just tell me your favorite classic rock song. Use "there will still be you and me" as the randomizer (bp if you know the song)

I'll choose a winner on September 1st (or whenever i get paid) so you'll have plenty of time to enter! Winner will get an item $10 and under from their wishlist.

RULES DOCUMENT UPDATE MUST READ! 8/18/26

Hi everyone,

As you may know we have pretty basic rules regarding contests and giveaways.

We've been following a basic rule of thumb for contests and giveaways with the following:

  1. Must have gifted a minimum of 3 times in any gifting or helping subreddit before being eligible to post contests or giveaways

  2. Contests and giveaways must CLOSE WITHIN 30 DAYS of the contest/giveaway posting date

  3. Prizes for contests and giveaways must be purchased WITHIN 3 DAYS of the closing date.

For some reason the second and third rule never got added to the rules document, so it is now updated to reflect what's listed above.

Another thing we've added is the following:

Failure to purchase Contest/Giveaway prizes will result in a ban from the subreddit. Note: This rule also applies if purchases are canceled.

Note: The above regarding canceled purchases is a given but it's just there as a formality.

While we know alot of you are know the rules of this subreddit, we ask that you still read the rules document in it's entirety to familiarize yourself with all the rules, new and old.

After all, a rules update post is the best opportunity to refresh your memory!

The link to rules document can be found here:

When you've read this post and the rules document in it's entirety please comment "I Agree"

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Moved into a tiny room.

Enjoy my crude floor plan drawing! Lol.

Recently had to move out of a 2 bed apartment into an oddly shaped teenie tiny room. Door to the right is a closet, while the left leads out of the area. So far, I've got a queen bed in the center pushed up against the bottom wall, that window on the bottom also has an AC. Currently just have my TV propped up on a cat carrier until im able to mount it on the wall. We do have a dresser, but it's in the basement for now.

Looking for affordable suggestions to maximize the space for myself and my other half! Thanks!

[Birthday Contest] Tell me your best kitchen/household find + link it

(MOD Approved Contest)

Hi everyone. My birthday is tomorrow 🎉🎂 and this year I wanted to mark the big day a bit differently by turning it into something fun for the community rather than just myself.

I'd love to hear about the best kitchen or household item you've ever purchased, something you'd genuinely repurchase without hesitation, along with a link to it.

There will be 3 winners, and each will get something from there wishlist $5-$10 range.

The contest will close Thursday at 12pm CST, and winners will be announced shortly after.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's recommendations, and I appreciate you taking the time to participate. Good luck to all!

Not required but this is my wishlist link if anyone is feeling gifty, I'd love any birthday presents or contributions 🤗❤️. https://throne.com/treslechescake1

[Intro] new to this

Hi everyone! I'm new here and am looking forward to sharing some joy.

About me: currently going through a rough patch with family loss and looking for a job ( without much biting back at all). I am looking to heal and relearn more about myself as I go through this phase in life and have found a need and desire to revisit all the hobbies I put on the back burner for so long because of adulthood. It's the little things that bring me daily joy. In the meantime its also important for me to find a way to help contribute to my household as best as I can. I'm looking for ways I can change my career path and continue to improve for my future. Any little contribution from my wishlist will make my day and I appreciate you for any help. I look forward to giving back when I can as well.
