“Detained”.

The missing context from AP’s headline: He’s been held HOSTAGE and tortured by ISRAEL for over 550 days.

The BBC used photos of Indian police arresting "Free Tibet" protesters in their coverage of news from China. 🤣🤣🤣

Fled China to the US to be some China critic. Jailed by the Americans for doing the 'most American thing' ever - a billionaire committing fraud.🤣

This NYT essay published today on "What Zionism Has Always Meant" doesn't include one mention of Palestine or Palestinians.

Israel has killed at least 73,000 Palestinians since October 2023 (likely a massive undercount) and yet the NYT decides that now is a good time to publish an essay that tries to rewrite Israel's violent history and erase Palestinian culture.

There also isn't any mention in the essay of the Nakba, the violent dispossession of 750,000 Palestinians by Zionist terrorists and the IDF.

Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh was “likely raped to death,” wrote United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese."

Not a headline but I expect this WaPo atrocity counts here

Nov 2023: After Israeli forces besieged and ordered the evacuation of a Gaza children's hospital, medical staff were forced to leave critically ill babies behind. The babies died and were later found decomposing in their hospital beds.

“Israel would never target children”. Look at the dates. They want you to believe that 'the Israel' that has been killing children for decades and they killed 20,000 in Gaza by accident.

For any normal person, this should sound insane. For Palestinians, this is everyday life under Israeli occupation.

On July 7, 1987, during the Iran-Iraq war, Iraqi aircraft dropped multiple chemical bombs on the city of Sardasht in West Azerbaijan province, killing over 100 people instantly and wounding more than 650 others. Iraq's chemical weapons program was built with extensive foreign assistance.

German companies supplied precursor chemicals and production equipment; British and French firms provided technology and expertise; and the United States, despite publicly condemning chemical weapons use, continued to provide intelligence and logistical support to Saddam's regime throughout the war.

China isn't "luring" anyone to the yuan. Monetary system is based on one thing only: Trust. I mean, who wants to hold a dollar then get sanctioned in the end?

Why did you leave out the fact that Israel is DELIBERATELY killing children NYT? That’s what the report says.

u/RickyOzzy — 11 days ago

It’s not a natural disaster, Israel destroyed their homes, destroyed the water systems, blocks aid and reconstruction, on purpose. It’s a deliberately engineered hellscape meant to destroy Palestinian life in Gaza. That’s what makes it genocide.
