A lot has changed in our lifetime. It's comforting to know that some things are the same.

Happy Friday, fellow Gen Xers and Nostalgia Nerds
Let’s talk about a core weekend ritual that younger generations will never truly understand: hitting the video store on a Friday night.
Whether it was a giant Blockbuster or your neighborhood mom-and-pop shop, it was an entire sensory experience. The bright neon lights, the specific smell of plastic VHS cases, and the high-stakes strategy of rushing to the "New Releases" wall to see if a tape was actually left behind the dummy box.
If you got unlucky, you spent an hour wandering the aisles, reading the back of every sci-fi, horror, or comedy box before settling on an old favorite and grabbing a box of candy at the counter. Then came the ultimate rule: Be Kind, Rewind.
Let’s unlock some memories today:
•What was your go-to mom-and-pop video store called back in the day?
•What movie did you rent so many times you basically owned it?
•Did you ever rack up an embarrassing late fee, or forget to rewind the tape?

Is anyone else still in their party phase?
