I had forgotten to show you guys this sneak peek of Atom, hahaha
I don't know if I'm freaking out, but I love the idea of a bot against Midas.
Base for an illustration of my custombot against Midas; canonically in the Foxhound lore, this was one of his most important fights.
Atom's maker/owner probably died with him in the junkyard, read text
If Atom booted up with max in shadow mode, but was last found at the edge of that cliff before waking up in the gym, it means he was probably in shadow mode before falling with whoever he was walking/shadowing with.
This is all assuming atom booted up in shadow mode because that was what he was last left on with, like on board memory.
So atom was with someone in shadow mode and something happened to get buried there. Maybe he didnt slide down though since he was buried deep for a while and didnt fall, which makes sense why he is an old generation robot.
If he was in shadow mode it would be very hard for him to get buried unless turned off or buried with the guy he is copying, which would have made max finding him a lot more scary haha. There are a lot of cool creative ideas to think of! Which is why leaving it vague is definitely a great option for them to make.
Custom bot art
A sketch I made to get an idea of my robot's design, and I also took the opportunity to experiment with the angle.
Ways to control a robot
Well, in the movie there were 4 ways to control them: joystick controls, console, voice commands, and imitation mode, But for the lore of my custom bot, I wanted to do something different that would explain how my robot acts.
You'll see in the lore of my custom bot that it uses a kickboxing-type fighting style, but in addition to that, while fighting the robot puts on a show, so to speak. In combat, it often taunts its opponent every time it dodges an attack. My bot usually slaps the opposing bot instead of simply returning the attack; it also has a mocking function in which it spits used oil from its snout.
And I feel that a regular way of handling it wouldn't really explain how the bot acts, so it occurred to me that its controller, from the trailer where it transports the robot, could operate it with a full body VR set or without being a full body set, uses two VR joysticks But I had a question about whether I wanted it to be consistent with the lore.
(I've attached example images of what I'm talking about, plus an image of my custom bot as it looks in the game, since I haven't finished drawing it yet.)
Limits in robot boxing
I've had a question since I saw the movie: could other types of boxing be used in robot boxing? For example, a robot that uses kickboxing would be really cool to see and quite possible.
I modelled Atom
Uhh yea I prolly continue ambush next Modelled in Prisma3D Textured in D3DSculptor

This one was a lot of fun to make, especially the red glowing effects
*It is Nissan GTR R35 2020 not 2024! I apologize.
Have someone ever consider this?
I NEVER saw ANY FNF content of "Real Steel" eventhough this movie has literally a "Dancing Robot"
( That is portrayed like..... even being a robot, it has some kind of feelings )
A new bot is coming
this robot is gonna be speed-related from what I see
and knowing reliance its gonna 100% ai generated cause reliance is pretty lazy nowadays
