Hi guys, I’m trying to rebuilt my life again and i was hoping since i rediscovered my old hobby which is doing art,

To be honest, the problem right now is i have so many interest in art,

I remember being a child i always love cartoons and does roleplaying with my toys and even tried voice acting them (i find it cool that i had those tendencies back then) (i like voice acting) (and drawing art for scenarios that i have in my imaginations)

And sometimes i imagine them through songs as well (i also would like to learn about writing songs, though with my lacking of people with feedback, i am not sure to be confident about my writing)

Its simple but, without a community or people who could help me learn through with it, i would like to ask how and where should i go and im hoping its the right people)) and I look forward to reconnect with people even when unprepared so i could learn things the hard way too)

Hey all!

For my school's marching band we are looking for a voice-actor in the baritone -bass range kind of a charismatic/authoritative voice to record some voice lines for us to help push the narrative of our show this Fall. The theme is relatable to Louisiana Voodoo kind of like Princess in the Frog's Dr. Facilier (Keith David).

Musician makes a deal with a magician in exchange for musical talent. It not a singing role. Your voice will be played over our audio system throughout the show while one of our members "acts as your character."

You will get credited for your work at every performance for helping my kids complete their show!

It's total about 1-2 minutes of audio and 150-200 words.

As he steps off the stage he is approached by a mysterious man....

DR. VOODOO (a very grimaced expression) “Ooooooo… tough crowd, kid.....”

(Charismatically)
“Allow me to introduce myself.....Some call me a magician.....Some call me a miracle worker.......And some…call me when they run out of options.”

“Now tell me, friend, what would you give to turn those jeers into cheers? Those boo’s into WOO’s (chuckles)? What’s your price… for applause?”

I'm making a show and I need a va for one of the main 4 characters:

Voice Reference: Tolkien - South Park

We are a very small indie company looking for a male voice (likely British accent, but are open to seeing if anything else fits). This voice will be for a figurehead of a society that sends out Alchemy Researchers to other worlds to collect items for Arcana. The character, at the moment, is faceless, and will likely stay that way. We are imagining the voice to be either that of a man that is commanding but regal , or a wise mage.

We are very open to hearing anything and what people can do. He will be introducing players into the world when they first start up the game, and periodically chime in on successful rounds.

The name of the game is Alcurio on steam. It is a quirky fantasy game with lots of magic. We are trying to dial in the feeling of pressure, which is where the idea for this character came in.

One of his lines currently (subject to change) is: "Well gathered. You have made it back with the necessary arcana, but your skills will be required again soon. Rest... while you can"

I'm casting the remaining roles for the first episode of an original fantasy anthology audio drama called Tales From The Skald.

The episode follows a group of adventurers who enter a mysterious forest known as The Hollow to hunt a creature called the Stagwraith. The story gradually shifts from a tavern adventure into psychological horror.

The narrator (The Skald) and the lead adventurer (Ruben) have already been cast, and I'm looking for actors to fill the remaining speaking roles.

Available Roles

Peter (Male, 35-45) A weathered fisherman with dry humor and years of experience. He knows enough about the Hollow to fear it.

Colin (Male, 30-40) Peter's longtime friend. Frustrated with his circumstances and tempted by the bounty on the Stagwraith despite knowing better.

Phoebe (Female, 20-40) A cautious adventurer whose instincts are usually correct. Intelligent, grounded, and increasingly terrified as events unfold.

Alden (Male, 20-40) A cocky archer who treats the expedition like an easy payday. His confidence slowly gives way to uncertainty.

Barkeep (Male or Female, 30+) Quiet and reserved. Has seen many adventurers head toward the Hollow and knows exactly how those stories usually end.

About the Project

Genre: Fantasy / Dark Fantasy / Folk Horror

Format: Audio Drama

Length: Approximately 20–25 minutes

This is the first entry in an anthology series set in a larger fantasy world.

Although this is an unpaid passion project, I'm committed to making it as polished as possible. All actors will receive full credit, and I'd love to continue working with anyone interested in future episodes.

Hey everyone! I'm a 30M who's finally taking the leap into voice acting after years of being told I should give it a shot. I have a pretty deep, calm, and soothing voice, and I'd love to see where it can take me.

I'm a complete beginner with a decent PC setup and a willingness to learn. I'm open to unpaid practice, community projects, feedback, or anything that helps me gain experience. If anyone has advice or knows of beginner-friendly opportunities, I'd really appreciate it.
