Visual Glitch

Are there any solutions for this glitch? I’m using the Redmagic 11 pro

Is redmagic 11s pro a good daily phone besides gaming?

I know it's a great gaming phone. I have already seen tons of videos and I loved its performance and design. However while I do like that it can run games great, I also do want a phone that can be an okay or good daily phone for normal uses. I have also heard that the phone also has software issues and support doesn't last longer than 3 years. So I really want to know is it worth it and can it also be a good normal phone? I don't mind it's camera though. I am planning to replace my Samsung m51 with this and use it for at least 5-7 years as my main phone

Can't keep defending

The only time phone is flawless is wifi. Even then sometimes it's wonky. On 4g, 5g REDMAGIC does not play nice with T-Mobile networks because of a single band preventing everyone from full service. Gaming phone with shit network is shit.

I've been dreaming of buying a powerful phone for around 10 years. Is the RedMagic worth it considering the cost?

Boring premise alert!

I really got into gaming back in the day when I discovered emulators/PUBGM, but I haven’t been able to get the best experience due to using budget phones.

I also prefer gaming in the palm of my hands, and also on something that fits in my pocket.

Having said that, are RedMagic phones that ahead of budget/mid range phones in terms of the games you can play on it?

Should I buy the 11 pro now

Hi everyone. I have been eyeing the redmagic phones for half a year to do some heavy gaming like PC emulation. I want to wait for the 12 pro release for better specs but I doubt it would have the 24gb ram model? Some tech reviews I know even say that its highly unlikely until late 2028.

To people saying why not just buy the latest version (11s pro), I have read quite a lot of reviews suggesting ram plays a major role in pc emulation, especially on fps? If thats true, I am still considering 11 pro if it is affordable. Any insights on this? Much appreciated.

Question about the floating app menu on 9S

So, as the title implies, I'm very intrigued about the floating apps menu.

For context, I've had this RM9S for about a year, and I never paid it any mind because it's generally just used for watching videos or music while I'm doing things, or just talking to friends.

I recently googled that it was impossible to add apps or games to it outside of what's "allowed". While I can understand that Shop would be on it, I genuinely don't know how the three games on this screenshot ended up inside of it ?

So now I'm just left wondering if I can even add other games to it....any insight everyone ?

How to stop the screen from turning off after inactivity?

I've got the RedMagic 11S Pro (EU version ig?) and I use it to make mobile game content. I often find myself recording straight through my phone and uploading it to my cloud later so I can edit it on PC.

This is where the issue kicks in. Sometimes I have files worth of 10GBs and more waiting to get uploaded and I have to leave my editing software open for several minutes, which makes it really annoying when I come back to find out that the screen turned off due to inactivity. The best I could find to fix this issue was going through settings and changing it to 10 minutes, but that doesn't actually solve the damn issue sadly

WHY does my Redmagic 11 Pro keep doing this?

Hey peeps. I'm a first-time Redmagic user, super-chuffed when I got my 11Pro brand new a few weeks ago. It had some updates and everything was fine and dandy. I have barely used it (I haven't even transferred stuff from my current phone because I'm still using it), but i've been noticing something lately. My 11 Pro every so often likes to hang, be unresponsive for a few seconds, and then restarts itself. This is eminently annoying. Anybody knows why, or have any solutions?

I got extremely lucky and wanted to pass this luck off to anyone

CLARIFICATION : THIS IS NOT A GIVEAWAY. Im merely trying to spread the positive vibe especially the luck i receive into someone so that they will also be lucky on something they wished to have.

Hi everyone, i just would like to spread my luck to everyone since this rarely happens to me. So first i posted here on this reddit that due to unforeseen circumstances, i wont be able to buy this phone and have given up on it. But 3 days ago i finally have one the redmagic 11s pro 16/512 thru a local supermarket raffle!!!

So what happened is i was shopping for groceries that would hopefully last for a 1 or at most 2 weaks when unknowingly the store i usually go to have a raffle. I didn't pay any kind to it because i rarely win on these and also i dint know that the prize would be this phone, so i just enteree it with my grocery receipt and forgot about it which this happened 2 weeks ago. Then i got a call 5 days ago that i won the grand prize the latest redmagic 11s pro 16/512 along with the rm 8 cooler pro.

So im thankfil that i won this unknowingly and hope this goodluck will be passed on to any who reads this.

Help

Hi. Today i tried to clean fan vent for 11 pro. And I used small weak stick to take out small dust and hair follicles. But then I saw a small bump looked like a dust stuck then I tried to take it out using a small needle but now when I tried to pull out it doesn't seem like a dust. Is there a wire or something like near the fan vent where air goes in? Is it something stuck or is it wire ? Should I take it out.?

Redmagic Air 11 Burn in

I've had my phone for only 2 months and it's screen has burnt in, from several apps/games. I don't even use it with more than 70% brightness.

Did I really get this unlucky or is this a common thing?

Usa, been using red magic 6s since it launched, switched to T-Mobile so I could use it. Now T-Mobile doesn't work

Does T-Mobile work with the new 11 s pro or not?

Canadian Customs/Duties: Amazon VS .gg Website Purchase?

Hullo!

I'm finally caving on getting a new phone - which I hope will last me - after resuscitating my LG V60 ThinQ too many times now. After years of on-and-off research and procrastination, I've settled on a RedMagic phone for all the features I'm looking for within an okay price point for my wallet. I had been keen on the 11 Pro, but with their availability looking nonexistant through official channels... I've given up and will bite the bullet by spending an additonal $150 CAD on the S, as much as I don't really care about the minimal upgrades.

I'm wanting to jump in on the purchase this weekend, but one major thing is holding me back: the official .gg website (and the .tech one, though I'm shopping from Canada) lists the potential for customs fees/duties to be passed on to the customer. This could be a huge chunk of additional money I'd rather avoid.

I emailed them about this along with a few other questions, and they promptly replied with a pretty standard explanation... but no hint as to the likelihood of it happening. I assume it's more likely to happen if they ship from a warehouse in Hong Kong, VS from inventory held in their Canadian warehouse.

All that is to say, I want to know of anyone's personal experience with shopping for a RedMagic phone/tablet/device via Amazon VS/or on their official site, if your receiving address is Canadian**.** I'd particularly like to know if you were ding'd additional fees/duties if you ordered from their official site.

Right now, it's looking like Amazon is the better option for me, because

1) Quick/guaranteed shipping (and I'd really like to have this in my hands within a week, before the 11th, for game-event reasons),

2) No additional customs fees/duties mentioned.

Cons for purchasing via Amazon, however, are

1) $50-$175 more at check-out, depending on the RAM/storage size,

2) No option to purchase the official RedMagic screen protector via Amazon (that one has the best reviews, but if anyone now has experience with a different/newer screen protector - not case - purchased elsewhere, let me know!).

Please note that this is through the Canadian branch of Amazon. The seller on Amazon appears to be RedMagic themselves. Also, I did check for warranty options, and they're thankfully the same via both Amazon Canada (from RedMagic Direct) and RedMagic's .gg site.

TL;DR

If you received any RedMagic products to a Canadian address, did you pay any additional fees/customs at your door/on pick-up? How recently? Did you have a good/bad experience overall?

Thanks!

edit: accidentally typo'd about the price being the same between both Amazon and .gg
